The inquiry ordered by the Fine Gael party into Maria Bailey's compensation claim was made public today and Leo Varadker has removed poor Maria as chairwoman of the Oireachtas Housing Committee as a result. That means a €9,500 a year hit for her but her friend Josepha Madigan may be in trouble too.
