Bayern Munich will need to get rid of Harry Kane if they want to get back to winning major trophies next season.

Real Madrid lead in added time that was a tight VAR call.

Poor goalkeeping from a normally good goalkeeper.

Quote from: weareros on May 07, 2024, 11:31:37 PMIt's a song that has grown on me. They are clearly very talented and it's nice to have something different. So I'm jumping on the bandwagon. Crown the Witch!
Calling her "they" is getting very dull. She is obviously very talented and doesn't need any artificial promotion.

They or it for Non-binary?   Bambie doesn't use a gender to describe oneself.

Quote from: NAG1 on May 08, 2024, 01:27:59 PMHit the post 6 times in that game alone I think.

No love for them at all as a club, but some nights it just was never going to be.

Didn't score over both legs against the 5th best team in Germany this season. I don't think too many will be sad to see another soulless club fail to reach the Champions League final.  Before the Qatari takeover they played in the Champions league/European cup only a handful of times and it was mainly group stage or early round exits for them.

Through to the final, won't be a cow milked in Macroom for a week.

Quote from: tiempo on May 07, 2024, 01:46:08 PMHeadline ... 'It's mad' – Rio Ferdinand predicts Premier League chaos over Man City's 115 charges

Is anything ever not 'mad' in that fellas head, brief respite from illegal I suppose

Maybe one day he'll say madly illegal and his head will explode

Ironic of course the same fella swerved a drug test, both illegal and mad

Man city are getting the all clear by all accounts. The FA are just stalling as to how they can back track out of the whole mess without pissing off loads of fans

They are as guilty as the late OJ Simpson.  If Manchester City get the all clear it will show they used the best solicitors/lawyers that their billions can buy.

If the odds are to be believed the Irish song "Doomsday Blue" by Bambie Thug will sail into the final as is currently 5th to win it out.

1st and 2nd favourties to win and both better songs than the Irish one IMO.

Better contest than I thought it would be. Galway will all players back fit have stronger 15 and bench than Mayo match against Derry next should be a very interesting one.  Mayo will likely need to top their group to bounce back and win All Ireland Quarter however the chances of that happening with having Dublin in their group?

Quote from: ONeill on May 02, 2024, 10:41:36 PMBring back Griffiths, Thorburn and Reardon. Now that was swashbuckling, edge of your seat snooker. Real characters.

Those were the days.

Quote from: Look-Up! on May 02, 2024, 09:42:31 AMWhat's people's take on Chelsea and Pochettino? Gets a very easy ride from the press compared to Utd, although if they win tonight they'll only be 3 points behind them.

With that squad though, surely they should be contenders. If they have everyone fit next year, a good manager should be at least competing for CL, and if City regress, a title. If they can't, you'd imagine huge financial implications are coming down the line.

If Abrahamovich was still there would be well gone. All the money wasted spent lack a decent no 9 and goalie. Conor Gallagher as captain shows lack of leaders in the group too.

Yes he would be gone months ago, doubtful if even appointed under Abrahamovich. He's a darling of the English media so an easy ride was expected.

Hard to warm to a penalty shootout deciding a GAA championship match.  Derry left that title behind them, Tyrone to their credit hung in there and having the experience of winning Ulster minor in 2021 and 2022 probably helped them get over the line tonight.
