Milltown Row2

Its those teams that have generally fcuk up their league positions

I'd be happy with a run in the FA cup at this rate
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

If we are talking shocking performance effort level look no further than Marcus.

Body language shocking, you would have thought with the new manager in the stand he would have been working his socks off but seemed to go the other way.

Good fighting performance if lacking still in direction and quality. Hopefully Ralph can get a system of play to allow them to go on a bit of a run.
Rashford's performances a bit odd alright. He clearly has buckets of talent, and he's clearly not agitating for a move or for more money. It's a bit like second season syndrome, albeit not his second season! You could definitely argue he's on the wrong wing,  but no excuse for the poor performance. Maybe the new manager will be able to fix whatever is wrong.

There's been a bit of negativity around Sancho with the Ronaldo deal overshadowing his acquisition and then Ole having him in and out of the team, but he's been a massive positive in recent weeks. Looks the real deal. His supercool finish in the prior game with Rashford making an utterly stupid run in an offside position beside him was a nice freeze frame moment of how they;re both playing.

Bruno, Ronaldo, McT, Fred and Slab all starting. Is that clown Pogba still injured?

GJL

The Fred haters will be quiet this evening. Nice goal and a clean sheet for a change. Should really have scored 4 or 5 in the first half.

Cunny Funt

Rangnick up and running with a win might be only Palace at home but on their last 4 visits to Old Trafford Palace have won 2 and drew 2.

The win with added bonus of a rare clean sheet. It was a fine margin win as Palace may have got another result in Old Trafford if Ayew didn't miss that sitter on 75 minutes and it took a bit of Brazilian magic from Fred to win it.

Dead rubber against Young Boys next so Rangnick can make a full 11 changes to the team if he likes.

I'd say Ronaldo will want to play against Young Boy's, he can potentially score in all 6 CL group games. Only other time it has been done was by the man himself a few years back.

Is Carrick gone from man u?  or  just back to the ranks?
I have more respect for a man
that says what he means and
means what he says...

Think Pogba got injured for France during last international break?

This is an interesting one and the outcome could suggest how the power dynamics at Man Utd work.
It is in the teams best interests to rest Ronaldo so he's fresher over the Xmas period.
It is in Ronaldo's best interests to play and equal that group stage scoring record, for whatever that is worth. These things seem important to him.

My guess is Ronaldo will play as his personality will overrule Rangnick.

Start him, let him get an early goal and get him off.

Would be stupid of him to play tbh.
