. I think Cavanagh could give Owens a hard time.
I really cant see a young lad making his championship debut giving the current best full back in the country a "hard time."  And i dont think there's much doubt that barry owens is indeed the best full back in the game.  I may be wrong, however i just cant see it.  I see colm cavanagh as a better runner with the ball than a target man, and think his best position might be at 10 or 12.  Ive only seen the lad playin twice at senior level though, what do u tyrone lads think?
I wouldnt pay much heed to the fermanagh team thats announced tonight, im afraid charlie likes to keep his cardsa very close to his chest, but i can see us goin with the following:
1)Tinney/Breen
2)Bogue  3)Owens  4)Goan
5) mcdermott 6) lyons 7) P. Johnston
     8)mcbarron 9)mcgrath
10)maguire 11)little  12) Brew
13)Mcgurn  14)Doc  15) O'Reilly

I think he'll go with a two man full forward line of doc and mcgurn.  Two big target men to pump the high ball into. I think o'reilly will roam out a little to try to pick off points from distance.  I can see us doing it lads, i really can.

Wat ya's think?

if anyone can beat this ill eat my hat.

Was playin a £50 freezeout in yorkegate near belfast. there was bout 90 in it and top 15 were paid.  There was 16 left at this point. myself and one other guy had the two monster stacks.  We had bout 60,000 each and everyone else had bout 12000-13000. He was on small blind and I was on big. Blinds were at 750 and 1500. I knew it would be madness to tangle with him so i just stayed outta his way.  However he kept raising my big blind.  One time it was folded round the table to him and he raised it up to 6000 to play. I looked down at JJ and smooth called him. The flop came J-10-10.  He moved half his stack in and i called.  The turn came 8.  He moved his remainder in and i called to see he had pocket tens.  I finished outta the money and cried in the taxi on the way home.
I vowed that night never to play poker again yet as i am writing this i am on PP

So what realistic players would u fellow man utd fans like to see playing at OT next season??  Personally, i dont know if owen hargreaves is an ideal choice.  Apart from the fact we're getting totally ripped off, i think that with him and carrick in midfield we wont have anyone who's gonna bomb forward from centre midfield in the scholes mould. And on that subject, if Scholes, carrick n hargreaves were all fit, who would fergie play???

I dont think a midfield player is essential, ideally i think we should go for a young attacking midfielder.  Someone like schneider or someone older like deco would be good.
A striker is essential, and i think fergie knows this, hence larsson at xmas.  Berbatov has been mentioned and he would be an exceptional buy. It hink he's been fantastic this season and i reckon he could bag us 30 a season.  David Villa would be my number 1 choice but you would need to fork out £40m, n only chelsea could do that.  Theres rumours about eto'o as well but his past record of whinging could disrupt the camp.  Another possibility is Jan Klaas Huntellar, he's only22 and has scored goals21 in 31 this season.

I saw a heerenveen game last week and Afonso alves was unreal!! NOt sure wat age he is but he's lightning quick and he's scored 34 this season!!

I think our defence will be fine, but i can see silvestre or heinze being pushed out with evans bardsley and pique returning from loan spells.  Heinze could be part of the berbatov deal. What you guys think?Huh

okay, so lets travel to dreamland.  If youre county hurling or football team could get any three players from any other county who would they be?? state your team and the players!!
Being from fermanagh and in desperate need of a top class target man, id go for:
1) Ronan Clarke
2) Sean Cavanagh
3) Colm cooper

All these players are young, and taking cavanagh and clarke from tyrone and armagh might help us one day win ulster. ah well, back to reality .....
