Shows you everything that is wrong with our system that a total crack pot bigot actually is given this level of funding in the first place. Whether that be European money or what ever.

Twice the quality max

Total disgrace the price at the gates for the championship matches this year, dont know what they are thinking with the pricing scheme.

Ferguson will have to start being realistic about the team as well, United are short in certain areas which he didnt wouldnt or couldnt strenght over the summer. Gary Neville is past the sell by date and is being exposed for total lack of pace. This is more concerning when Nani is playing infront of him.

As far as I am aware the Fixtures committee wouldnt allow other teams to do this at different points during the year, so I am wondering how this slipped through the net.

Have to agree Frankie, it was as if the ref thought St Galls were too good to be tackled.
Really poor bit of refereeing ruined what potentially could have been a decent match.

Spending this week watching films I never got around to watching. Last night I watched Jaws.

It's about a shark that is vicious enough to attack people who are swimming in dangerous waters. The story is a little slow paced and the shark is a bit over played ie everytime there's someone swimming in dangerous waters the music starts and you know EXACTLY what's in the pipeline here. It would have been better say if the swimmer was just swimming along minding his own business and the shark just appears from nowhere and within 3 seconds the man is ate. Then in the next scene have the swimmers out and nothing happens. That means the audience just don't know what is going to happen. Is it an innocent paddling scene or will the girl get bit in half within 3 seconds. Worth watching to the end and the captain of the ship sings a song about a Spanish Lady which the shark obviously hates as it starts wrecking the boat.

Without spoiling the end, the life guard shoots the shark in the mouth. The shark is drinking a barrell of petrol at the time. Some coincidence that!

Fact check on that one olly!  ;)

was it as late as 89? remember being 17 playing Dunloy in a championship match!!

Wasn't 89. Cloot (plus Loughgiel) beat us in the senior semi final down in Cushendall about two/three weeks after the AIF

I'd guess 87

Corrected that for you Skull

Lads at the end of the day it does not matter one jot who refs the final. The refs all know that it is a big day for the players so they will be going there to do their best and trying not to make any mistakes either road.

I believe that we have some very genuine refs at the minute and questioning them on here will not do any of them any good.

Therefore what has he got except a lot of knock off gear bought from a company that went bust that he is trying to offload on the GAA sector with neither permission or right to do so.

You can talk about monopolies all you want but the other companies that had a go against O'Neills did so in the correct manner and had to buy the rights of the GAA to do so.

Tough one celt man, in all seriousness more and more of our young people are in this situation from Ballycastle to skibbereen, its a common problem.

Hard to say whats for the best on the job front, maybe take advantage of some free training that is out there at the moment and try to get any sort of employment, part time or not.

Hope all works out for the best regardless, good thread!
