Excellent article.  I can only imagine that the more severe problems in the south will work its way north in the near future.   We had a couple of Italian and Spanish students working with us in the summer (one who stayed) whos home countries have even more severe employment problems.  They laughed at us when we were complaining about the politicians, about the expenses the double jobbing etc.  They said we were mad to even think that this wasnt going on before it all came out.  Its just that we didnt think to look because everything was ok.  Crooks the lot of them.  If the government and local goverments put as much pride and honour into their Country, city, town, district as Gaels put into their clubs we would not be in this mess, or at least there would be something left in the cookie jar were there was no greedy hands to strip it bare.

Good man adoireabu.  It was the limerick football keeper a few years ago im nearly sure of it.  Ziggy i think the tevez one is a dead ringer, but maybeI just see it cos we used to slag him about it.  My favourite is John Mulligan and Laura Davies, thats a real gem.

Marty Dunne derrys second choice keeper last year played saturday morning football with the George Dohertys famous St Columbs side.  Full back had to hit the kick outs cos he couldn hit them without the tee

Mike i think you must just be on the the wind, but as someone already pointed out, you have shown your poor grasp of politics with the term republican fascist.  Now the irsh government have taken the "soup" that we and our children north and south of the border will pay back through our entire life time, but its a mere mention of ones dsgust that innocent victims are not remembered that gets your back up?  I cannot see how you can conclude that funtime franky must be a republican, would non republicans not want innocent victims remembered?  Or is it that they would but you suggest that they shouldn mention it? very confusing!!

We done that Sawel, only one side of the pitch is finished though.  Handy for training all the same.

I have just dug out a brochure i got last year that has the following quote

"It is widely used by many athletes and coaches, although there has been little research into its effectiveness... An interesting point that consistenly emerges within the research of CTW (Contrast Temperature Water immersion) is that the method provides the athlete with an enhanced psychological perception of recovery after excersise.  This psychological benefit alone provides a considerable boost to the athletes recovery"  LIFESTYLE, GETTING THE BALANCE RIGHT, COACHING IRELAND

I have the whole booklet scanned if anyone wants it

I think the fact that they are in this years final makes them contenders for an ulster title, No?  They were a good bet after the preliminary round, and anybody that stuck money on them fair play te ye.  Cross will be favourites and rightly so but i hope and think glenties will put it up to them.

A communist approach to things :)

There will always be people within are own organisation that will resent others getting money while they dont, regardless of their own nesessity for it.  It would be great to see the GAA take action but i wouldn hold my breath.

Money shouldn be a problem, Bantys mileage allowance will be very low considering he only uses laundered fuel

The L stands for Legenderry  ;D.  UK city of culture, an easier and more importantly, legal way of getting tax revenue of teh Brits than fuel smuggling  ;)
