If you were walking down the street at night in the middle of August wearing a balaclava would you expect to be stopped by the police if they had received a call from a concerned citizen reporting you?

If you were stopped by the police, would you actually answer whatever questions they had to clear things up and then go on your way, or would you continue walking while saying they shouldn't be stopping you, thereby refusing to comply with a lawful order?

And if they decided they were going to cuff you, would you then violently resist to the point That 4 of them need all their strength to subdue you and then attempt to grab the officers gun for good measure?

You do not need to know where someone lives, to know right from wrong. 
This isn't a case of "nobody died".  Somebody did die. 
Your view of this problem is very similar to the type of thing we seen in the six counties.

People couldn't objectively say, "that shouldn't have happened"!!  There always had to be a "but"

Killing someone that's unarmed (Guns knives or other dangerous weapons aside) is unacceptable.

Watched a film doc the other day, focused on a cop being called to Walmart on suspicion of someone stealing a pair of shoes at 7.30am.

Cop shot him in the face and chest, over a pair of shoes?! That was his second killing of an unarmed civilian.

The problem is where the norm is set.  What is acceptable?  It's no wonder that people are apologists for it when the Norm is what we would consider to be off the Richter Scale.

The terminology used by police when they attempt to arrest someone seems as if they are readying themselves in case there is an incident

How in Gods green earth would the cops know the guy was autistic. They might not even have known he was black until he was subdued

Secondly, from what I've been told, cops assume that everyone is armed with a firearm. That's why their reactions may seem extreme or over the top to someone from a country where police don't make that assumption.

Thirdly, and this is something else unique to American policing....these guys are trained in chokeholds. A normal person won't have an adverse reaction to a choke hold but very occasionally some people do if they're on drugs or have an underlying condition .....and that's why they're getting banned in some states.

(On an aside My kids took MMA and the instructors put people in chokeholds almost every class. There was one kid who weighed about 7 stone and if he got on your back it was lights out, no matter how big you were)

So the DA investigated and found no criminal wrongdoing

I think it's been re opened, so let's see what the new investigation finds.

This one film there was 1400 police killings, 44 officers lost their lives also, none of it is right. I would literally shit my togs if the police pulled a gun on me, it's not natural and will never be 'ordinary' the fight or flight kicks in, it's natural thing the body does when confronted with something that their mind feels they are in a dangerous moment.

In that particular year, only 6 officers were convicted over these murders, with the maximum sentence being 2 1/2 years!
