11/8 for rossies to be relegated from div one , if they were to get beat in first game v Monaghan they would be installed at about 1/2 or 1/3 .
Walk-in down mchale rd , sun out, summers day , game day . That's all .

Where are you getting odds on relegation?

15 mins to go Galway 2-5 Roscommon 0-9

GalwayBayBoy

Galway having their customary 2nd half collapse. A specialty the last few years.

FT

Galway 2-8 Roscommon 0-13

GaillimhIarthair

Poor start to the second half put Galway under a lot of pressure.  Good to come out the right side of a 1 point game.  Paul Conroy prob the Galway MOTM despite Comer's 2 goals.  Improvement needed for the Laois game.

Syferus

Good workout. Came back against the wind in the second half after two terrible goals to start the match. Had a couple chances to equalise late but it wasn't to be. No major injuries which is the main thing.

Galway playing real foulball today, preparing for the Ulster League I assume?

Cunny Funt

Opening 5 mins when 2-2 was scored won that game for Galway. Their first FBD title since 2009. Roscommon made 8 changes from the win over Mayo which would suggest they didn't take the FBD as serious as last year.

Great to see Ultan back, made an impact when he came on. Mightn't have a full game in him yet but he's a big player for us now.

Of the starting team today only 6-7 will start next week depending on injuries.

Lads, is it any wonder that players suffer burn out and injuries. Use Roscommon as just one example.

Last Sunday, they played Mayo..Last Thursday night, they played Armagh in a challenge match
and today they played Galway. That`s 3 games in a week, all on heavy pitches. No doubt, there was a training
session thrown in as well. Madness.

Madness! In fairness I'd say the Armagh game was a tag Rugby session. And the FBD v Mayo was in 2nd gear at best. But still madness!
