Quote from: J70 on October 15, 2024, 12:13:13 PMYou don't need a conspiracy theory or alleged shadowy forces to explain the pro-Israel bias of western foreign policy.

I'm pretty sure you do ... but happy for you to give us your explanation of the above topic to demonstrate your point.

Western-style democracy with close personal, cultural, political, economic and historical ties to the US and Europe sitting in the midst of the oil-rich, Muslim Middle East, some of which is allied with Iran, a hostile foe of the US. Sorry, not seeing the conspiracy or shadowy Rothschild forces at play. It's pretty much geopolitics being played out in the open.

Have you ever heard of the Balfour Declaration?

So what you're saying is that it is all the Brit's fault.

Down / Re: Down Club Hurling & Football

If they want to promote hurling in the Newry / South Down area they should give out free tickets to the schools and clubs in the Newry area to encourage a bigger crowd at the game.

According to this page https://www.mlb.com/postseason/international-broadcasters the BBC has rights to baseball playoffs in Ireland.

TNT SportsUK (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland), Ireland
BBCUK (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland), Ireland

Can anyone in the 26 confirm if you can watch the Mets/Phillies game on the BBC?

Don't like the Alisson injury but I am no longer worried about Kelleher as a replacement

If they can win some home games, that will be the key to going through, the hammerings away from home will make the goal difference look bad but won't matter.

Their remaining 3 home games are all against teams that lost their first games and Young Boys are getting hammered again.

How are you getting to the start. If you are taking the Staten Island ferry then you will get a look at the statue of Liberty on the way over.

I have run it 8 times, that is the only marathon that I have run so I can't compare it to anything else but I always had a good experience even the time I had a crap time.

Loads of possession lots of touches in the box no real clear cut chances.

Quote from: tintin25 on September 13, 2024, 08:17:09 PMI mean, is anyone seriously surprised?  People running this project from the start hadn't a clue.  I'm sure plenty of Antrim people and beyond would happily take a £25-28k state of the art stadium without the Euro 2028 nonsense.
Does it even need to be state of the art?

A decent stand on one side for most of the games that would be played there and safe standing room/terraces on the other 3 sides for the few games that would attract a large crowd.

Quote from: tiempo on September 13, 2024, 11:43:02 AMThe biggest piss take was surely finding the hijacker passport in the rubble

And was there something about a certain ethnicity not turning in to work at the towers that day?

No.
After 9/11 one of the many batshit crazy rumours was that Jews had been told to stay at home because they had been given advance notice of the attacks. Like everything else that our friends in the conspiracy loon community come out with there was not a single shred of evidence for that.
