General discussion / Re: Recommend me a mobile phone
November 22, 2023, 11:39:58 AM
When I got the fibre in this year it was extra to have a VoIP for the phone so I didn't bother as I'm paying for enough for mobiles so all calls are done using these.

Football as a spectacle is in real trouble, one time during yesterdays match there were 30 players all within Trillicks 65. Errigal played the ball sideways and back more than they played forwards. I suppose what do you do when the other team parks the bus as it wasn't really a day for the long range efforts.

How any Irish man can get behind a national team that that plays that shite song instead of its national anthem is beyond me.

Quote from: Hereiam on October 11, 2023, 11:14:35 AMI will be surprised if this is built on time. As with the A5 road there will be a group monitoring this and if one item is over looked they will pounce and you will see delay after delay.

I heard Heron Bros were in line to build it but that's not the case anymore
Surely the fact it's included in the Euros bid means it will be completed on time by all means necessary?

In a normal society this would be the case, unfortunately we have a shower of bigots who have too much power.

Quote from: AustinPowers on September 23, 2023, 07:03:39 PMHad to  laugh when that Vogue one appeared,  given that @hereiam mentioned her  last week.  What is  she actually famous for?  Is she Ireland's answer to the  Kardashians or what?

Looks like it's  still going to be  the same old  faces from the rte canteen . Rosenstock will no doubt be wheeled out any week  now.  Brendan o Carroll is never  off it either.

Have give it 2 weeks and that's me done with it, wont be going out of my way to sit down and watch it. Same old shite with an odd joke threw in by PK here and there. The 3 guests out at the same time is just not working as the conversation is just not flowing well enough and there are too many awkward pauses.  The whole desk and staging just doesn't work either.

Heard a bit of his interview on GMU this morning, the fact he claimed in the interview that he is back to being a poor man has made me say "piss off Sean".
Does he really think people are that thick, every man & dog knows that the Quinns are still a wealthy family.

Nolans type of broadcasting needs to be confined to the bin if this place wants to move forward.

Shame about the design of the new clubrooms, they had a chance to do something which was a bit more pleasing to the eye.

Was on the hill that day and no game has matched it or even come close to it for an electric atmosphere since that day. It makes me sad now that the kids dont get to experience that now with the way football has went. You could hear a pin drop at times during most games now.
