Did any other Tyrone folk emotionally compromised watching that, Hoping for Derry to kick on and win - because of the Philistine antics of the odious personality this tread is named after?

Certain strains of weed.

Any weed, when lit up fresh is nice to me. Stale weed is like stale tobacco. Not nice, at least in my nose.

I still miss the sensory overload delivered by a union of stale smoke and pine detergent.

Same. Worked 7 years in McElroy's in Castle Street in Omagh. Opened every Saturday and Sunday morning. The freshly mopped wooden floor was a great smell.

What do dog paws smell like?
To me it smells like fresh popcorn. But thankfully they don't get stuck in my teeth  :D

There's a fine line between a bad smell and a good smell. Yeast can get in their ears and paws, which drives a lot of licking and does not smell good.  Fresh puppy paws smell really comforting to me - but I do have house dogs.

One of the most distinctive voices of the movies IMO. Always loved his work.

We have Joop and CKone on board. All we need now is Cool Water for the 90's trifecta.

Quote from: tiempo on June 17, 2024, 04:51:39 PMA considerable weighting would be based on the spread of bets received, more people betting on Ukraine would thin their price and create a value price for Romania in this instance, in other words you wouldn't have got that price in a Romanian bookies. Actuary and algorithms will have the bookies in the green don't worry - always nice to beat them the odd time though, there's money to be made if you are smart and study the right markets

Interesting. Would such things happen in our regional market, say a bookies in Kerry offering shorter odds than a bookies in Tyrone on a Kerry Win?

Once he missed on 16 it was imperative he didn't have a putt that length for par again. To have a 4ft downhill slider on the 18th after the oil started leaking was just a disaster.

3ft 9 according to the broadcast.

Quote from: gallsman on June 17, 2024, 12:03:15 AMBryson is a twat. Famously so.

Pretending that's anything other than a bottle job is just bizarre contrarianism. He was two ahead, bogeyed three of the last four, with two of them from inside, what, 4 feet? Complete collapse.

Still wouldn't bet against him for the Open. This'll be the hardest one yet but he always comes back. Left immediately without doing any media.

Certainly was back in his day, seems to be a bit more level headed now.
