4 massive matches with only one gap week. What a horrific schedule.

Round 1, 9/10 May
Laois  v Galway
Round 2, 16/17 May
Kilkenny v Laois
Round 3B, 30/31 May
Dublin v Laois
Round 4, 6/7 June
Laois v Wexford

I would have thought it was ideal, 2 big games then a week off then another 2 big games. Realistically the first 2 are free darts as we will be massive underdogs in both games, then a 2 week run up to the crunch tie against Dublin.

I would imagine the Laois lads will be chomping at the bit for these type of games given how well they performed last season.

It looks pretty intimidating but was always going to given the opposition. Has a very different feel to the normal schedule against Offaly, Kerry, Westmeath, Carlow and Antrim but that's where we want to be. We will need a much bigger panel than last year to cope with attrition across the games.

Last year we were very lucky with injuries, insofar as we didn't get too many.
