Who will stop this Dublin team from 4, 5, 6 or more in a row?

Dublin now have such a pool of players to choose from, they can afford to give their entire squad the O'Byrne cup off and use the League to get in some pre season training, all whilst remaining competitive. None of the other counties can afford to do this without a huge drop off in performances.

It's actually ingenious, they will pick the O'Byrne squad shortly, full of AI u21 winners, train them as senior inter county players breaking no training ban, hit the OB cup running and pick up another Niall Scully or Conor McHugh and add to the squad. And if they win it it's another demoralizing competition for the Leinster counties and if they don't sure it's only our 3rd team.

If Dublin is eventually split, and Kerry win say 5 in a row, what do we do then!

AZOffaly

I don't want to split Dublin. One lot of dubs is bad enough :)

seafoid

Tyrone wont talk to RTE. So they have no forward power
Mayo can win next year.
Dubs cannot escape what caught Kilkenny and what did for Fergie time.

Kilkenny won 8 in a row bar 09 I think. Now they are banjaxed. Completely and utterly. the backs are now incoherent.Even Wexford can beat them. Jaysus. Imagine Kildare beating the Dubs by 6 points . 2021 . Book it.

Exactly.

Lets all channel our efforts into disliking one team.

Why don't other counties do this so?

Only Galway Mayowestros and Tyrone as well as Dublin have won U21s this decade.
Most Counties can't afford to have 45 on a panel over the Winter.

Not at all, ways and means. Roscommon Footballers have 2 sessions a week from now and through the Winter in Na Fianna. You don't need a huge amount of resources to stay fit.

Club championship kicks off now, Dublin have a lot of dual players and players from other counties competing. To say 45 players for Dublin train over the winter is the most hilarious comment seen posted here.

THe club championships kicked off in April, not that you probably care too much about them though.

That's right. However your opinion is incorrect, I'm heavily involved at club level and is more important to me than inter county.

So of you don't like to be responded to on this site do you, for too long there has been a cabal on this site with lots of incorrect and inaccurate information being spouted.

Love it

Wildweasel74

kerry have the forwards coming through, midfield too but they have not produced any outstanding defenders from those minor teams or the fact that they are so attack oriented the defensive side has been left lacking, until they produce the high standard of defenders such as the O`Se,`s etc they not threaten Dublin

seafoid

Whichever team is best placed to take advantage of the fallen Dubs , whichever team has learnt the most and developed most as a team, will do it.
