I would say the fella was a genius probably more than just musically. I think tbh based on photos of the last few months that it's not a surprise but still sad all the same. RIP.

Quote from: Armagh18 on Today at 11:02:32 AMAnyone coming out with a pile of student debt should be on a lot more than 24k a year ffs. Time you pay taxes etc and rent/mortgage you havent much left.

You don't pay the student debt back until you're over a certain amount which I would guess would be a lot more than 24k these days.

Doctors get significantly less here too. Not sure about other health professionals

I don't see an awful lot of games these days but I thought McCormick (Niall) looked worth a go based on county final performance at least.

I think McLaughlin a bit young yet but I honestly think he looks a better prospect than any we have seen in antrim for years. Still a school boy so senior a bit much I think.

Some people do seem to have had particularly bad experiences of teachers here whether it be through their own schooling or their own childrens schooling I don't know. I wouldn't share the same opinions - it's a tough job and I wouldn't want to do it.

Yeah as long as you don't catch it again it's fine. No foul there.

Quote from: NorthAntrim on November 29, 2023, 09:17:34 AMAlso the Management isnt the problem its the process? So hopefully its the board the players have the problem with and continue to pull on the Saffron jersey

This ^^ The camogiers have been making great progress so hopefully this doesn't derail them.

Forgot him. He'd be the biggest loss too.

Five hurlers opting out next year  :-\  Two Elliots, Maskey, O'Neill and I assume the fifth is McManus which was obviously a known. That's not good.

It's a pity because the camogiers have been going really well.

Even one of the players kicking up a stink about it.

I have my doubts on whether it will ever happen. The euros changed that doubt a bit but I don't think it'll ever get the money unless it's for something like the euros. It has honestly been a debacle since day one and the people behind it don't deserve to get it built - though some of the rest of us do!

If it doesn't get built for the euros it'll have to be a lot more modest I would think.

Ryan was up to his neck in stuff too.

He didn't Gillane though. From what I could gauge from reading it Ryan was involved in a lot of stuff. This is a fight on night out - allbeit it doesn't read well but I don't think he has previous.

Very different in the hurling. St Thomas's would hammer them.
