See they are due to show an Armagh SFC game next weekend, very slim pickings about in the last round of the group games. Hopefully they'll not go for the name recognition game -  Cross v Mullaghbawn which is pretty much a dead rubber. Killeavey v Maghery probably the best game available Imo (with Madden v Harps maybe 2nd, probably a hard watch but something to play for at least).

Madden v Harps at 4-00pm now.
Odds shorten.

I see Cahair O Kane tweeting that Tyrone is the only county in the Country that has knockout on the club championship this year

Knockout is the only way.

The only way to run a club championship
Long may it continue

Eire90

absolute disgraceful scenes at the end of that match match in Donegal on tg4 and were the two players shouting abuse at that player while he was receiving medical treatment that is a sickening act.

Was a backdoor or group stage ever tried in Tyrone?

Tyrone won All Ireland titles in 05 and 08 through the backdoor.

No

Ok, I'll do it.
Kilcummin finished 3rd in Division 1 are one of the big favourites for the Intermediate Championship.
Ballymacelligott finished 4th in Division 1 are the favourites for the Premier Junior Championship.
A joke, but maybe if they put the winners of the actual Junior Championship into the Provincial Junior Championship it would be more fair.

Over covid Armagh went to straight knock out. Reverted back to group stages this season. Personally prefer straight knock out but the current set up has its merits.

Harps v Madden will be a borefest. They should go with Ballymacnab v Killeavy,  be more football on show.
Mullaghbawn are out so their game with Cross will be a farce.

Eire90

when will rte start showing matches.

An outdated way. Training from January for potentially one championship game

15 very competitive league games as well. Genuinely never heard any complaints from players.
