My god, HTF did Magherafelt lose that. Looked so superior throughout, Maghera got 1.1 in last few minutes. MF had a goal disallowed for a square ball that on the replay looked like an incorrect call too. Magherafelt's N11 Young probably MOTM.

Shocking game of football!

Went to a Grammar school as well and for our A Level maths we had a teacher (VP - who I really liked actually but he shouldn't have been a teacher anymore) who did zero preparation. He came in, lifted a textbook and did maybe 3 problems and half explained them and then set us a couple of problems for homework.

I wasn't happy about it and asked my parents about a tutor. Little did I know at the time that out of our class of 15, 8 of us were going to the same tutor!!!

The tutor really pulled us out of a tight spot.

Quote from: screenexile on January 08, 2025, 06:22:14 PMWatching an old show at the minute the Outsiders. It's kind of a murder mystery with a supernatural undertone. I'm really enjoying it half way through and still plenty of mystery!

Where's that on? Stick?

Is that the one with Jason Bateman?

That's the one alright!

Quote from: bennydorano on January 04, 2025, 07:06:41 PMMate at our Christmas do had 4 pints of Guinness 0.0, how he could be bothered I'll never know. After a big feed of Turkey & Ham and dessert too, like a days work

I'm the same. I get that people would rather not have to explain why they aren't drinking but I'd rather a pint of coke or sprite or something than drink a zero.

I'm not a massive fan of the taste of beer although I can recognise when a pint is good either Guinness or lager. Having said that if I'm lying in the house and had a choice of beer or soft drink I'd pick the soft drink every time. Alcohol would be a social thing for me not something I'd be too worried about otherwise.

Celtic fans keep talking about "Sevco" and "No old firm" but what they're not grasping is that to anyone outside of Celtic supporters, Rangers are still Rangers.

Type Old Firm into google and you'll see multiple stories and links showing there was a game between them today!!

Celtic were clean shite today you'd hope it's a big wake up call.

f**k all in it but Fury didn't do anything that would have won him the cship.

Usyk was very average as well but he did just enough. I hope Usyk gives Dubois a rattle now he's next in line and is very dangerous!

The red was very harsh you can slow it down on Twitter here it was a shoulder to the chest and the RR man went down holding his head.

Absolutely stupid by the goalkeeper but it wasn't a red.

Having said that they were much the better team with the extra man. Hard to argue we'd have won with the full complement but we'll never know!
