Joe Dooley could be a good option for them considering what he has done with Offaly

Joe Dooley has abit to do with Offaly yet, some nice hurlers there at least there going in the right direction with some potential. Limerick have been knocked back years no one coming through. Some optimism in the 21 coming through in the last few years waiting for them to deliver but theres been nothing behind and never delivered. At least we could always see some potential but there's nothing now.

And last year if we're to be honest was an unconvincing path to the AI final

total shite, but you can get over the shite  if the effort is there, if its a contest.... there is no will to win this game.

what was needed there was something like cork vs limerick and Dubs vs Offaly. At least there would be some interest in the rnd then . You'd have bigger attendances at this stage, having a big match and give hope and interest to the weaker counties giving them a chance to get to the next rnd.

i agree on Galway and Antrim  in Leinster wouldnt be the ideal situation but its worth a go . As for 2 groups, there would be alot of matches with no importance,  eg the last game of the group or 2 poor teams playing against each other etc. At least at the moment every win in the championship progresses a team so theres always something to play for

DJ better,  but Nicky  (bow) my favourite player. He was the 1st real superstar i noticed. i met after Tipp threw away 10 point lead last summer against Limerick, he  was a pleasure to meet.  I have to say he was probably foulded (assaulted) much more than anyone else...... good auld Silvie. On another note, Is there somewhere you can get those loachra gaels ive seen a few but missed Nicky . I know alot of people looking for them. Very interesting especially the backgorund stuff , training etc
