Interesting topic. Not sure Longford Hurling and Kilkenny football should be the same given Kilkenny don't even field a team in the league?

Thats true but they say there's plenty of football in Kilkenny just they dont take it serious at inter county but I could be wrong.

I don't think hurling would be as high as 20% in Kerry. The hurling enclave doesn't cover 20% of the county and it's rural so it wouldn't cover 20% of the population.

You could be right.

Would you agree Galway is essentially 50 50

I would . North and West are football. South and South East are hurling while the city is probably split.

Hurling would be more than 20% in Derry. Probably 25 to 30%. Lavey, ballnascreen, dungiven, banagher, slaughtneil has generally been strong in these clubs

Max of 20-25% but when it comes to influence at co board level, it's 50/50 regarding fixtures etc. we are a football county with 7/8 dual clubs and na Magha.

I think everyone knows Football is the easier sport to play that's just common sense.

Soccer I would argue is the easiest sport in the world to play but can also be the most skillful.
