Are they deserving of a place? Is there  many big hits  to choose from?

Is there anyone over 40 who didn't own 4 of their albums?

ABBA. It's so hard not to get sucked in and sing along, very poorly and at least 5 keys out, while misremembering most of the words.

Fernando.

Thank You for the Music.

Always felt that "the day before you came " was a song that was building up to a crescendo or something, but it never quite got  there. It leaves me disappointed anytime I  hear it

Quick question  - has anyone covered an Abba song  better than Abba themselves?

I'm struggling to  name one

ONeill

That's a really topical question in my house. Or car. I collected the young girl from work recently and told her about this thread. She said "are you still on that you sad bastid" but then went on to say that the Mama Mia versions were far better. I was aghast.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Sinead O'Connor's Chiquitita is quite good. Erasure's Take a Chance on Me.

Leather Nun's version of "Gimme Gimme Gimme" made me realize it was actually a good song. So I would say yes.  But it won't be for everyone.
