Rory first appeared in the majors as a professional in 2009. He has a least one top 10 finish every year since then. A streak he shares with a grand total of nobody else.

Elite golfers are measured on Major victories not top 10s or any other metric

I reckon he will win a couple more before he finishes but he's probably had his purple patch, the standard is so high now

Over the same period of time only one other golfer has matched his 4 majors, Brooks Koepka.

Unfortunately for Rory he gets compared to the hype of 10 years ago rather than his achievements in the grand scheme. 10 years ago he was the next Tiger, Nicklaus' records were in sight etc. That didn't materialise so for some people he has underachieved, given his obvious talent (and hype) in the period since the last Major.

Speith never gives up, always out of position but comes up with the shots when needed

Learning moment for Shane the double on the par 3 is something to get over but the 2 horrible shots on the par 5 where he could have recovered cost him.

He's playing so well hopefully he can keep the form going!
