For Rory, it probably is since it's the one he's missing for career grand slam.

As said above it maybe for him now seeing as he needs it for the slam but its subjective most people would place it 3rd. Best to say nothing esp with a Us Open and Open round the corner.

Far from true, at the Masters you have all the past winners, Lyle, Langer, Weir etc in the field whereas in the Open it is based on world rankings, with a few odd exceptions.
Never understand why he has to come out with these type statements, just let your golf do the talking. Yes the Masters is all he needs for career grand slam, but I feel he is not as strong mentally as the top top players.....you don't hear them coming out with this nonsense.

Would have to disagree with you there that it's 3rd, think Woods has also said its the biggest one to win

Jack Nicklaus maintained that the Masters was the easiest of the majors to win, as it is played on the same course and at least half the field have no chance of winning. Links golf....anything can happen.

He never said it was the easiest to win. He just said it's the one everyone wants to win. Which is true.
The British open is lucky to be considered a Major.

The Masters is miles ahead, I'm not sure about his comments re the other events but would like to see the whole interview rather than a few click bait quotes.

He's just teed off in the Wells Fargo an event he's won a couple of times before, live featured group coverage on Sky shortly..

Open far superior to Masters, Masters has smallest field.

You're confusing easiest to win, with the one everyone wants to win. The Masters is the No.1 golf tournament.

McIlroy of to a flyer today I see.

Watched a video online yesterday which showed how to fade a drive. Tried on the range last night and the results were brilliant. Not only in understanding the fade but understanding and controlling my swing more. Could be a turning point.
