How can Kevin Na ever hope to be a big name in golf?

He needs to add at least 7 letters to his surname to be a big name.

Rory throws a club and G-Mac gets assessed a pretty harsh two shot penalty...

I've said it before and I'll say it again "Rory needs to realise that there is more to life than having sex all day with a top class Tennis player"

Too right.
I mean there are other professions he should be looking at like volleyball teams and porn stars.

It's a real thing and it's also evident in GAA circles. . . up here we would call it "being rid out". That's exactly what's wrong with McIlroy! He needs a good 6 months without a bit to get the hunger back!

Speaking of getting rid out, obviously Tiger is not getting as much these days.

Not sure which is the bigger story, Tiger with the win or Rickie Fowler giving it away with a +12 on the final round.

Derry golfer celebrates two holes-in-one in same round

Derry golfer celebrates two holes-in-one in same round A Londonderry golfer is celebrating after achieving not one but two holes-in-one in the same round in Greencastle, County Donegal.

Gerry Guckian, 49, was playing a competition in the open week at the club when he scored a hole-in-one on the ninth hole followed by another two holes later.

Gerry hit the shots on consecutive holes.

He said it was just a normal day of golf.

"I wasn't playing particularly well. I was playing with my brother and two friends in the final of open week.

"I was concentrating on the match.

"I first thought the ball was sitting beside the hole but as we approached it dropped into the hole.

"There was great excitement at that time, which was doubled when I did exactly the same two holes later," he said.

Gerry said that he had never heard of it happening before.

"I did not win the competition, despite the two holes-in-one, which perhaps shows the quality of my golf," he said.

He plays off a 14 handicap. His lucky ball on Sunday was a Titleist 4. He used a 5 iron on the 180-yard 9th and a 7 iron on the 190-yard 11th. He carded a respectable 39 points overall in the competition.

What does him being from Derry have to do with anything, except of course that he wouldn't be able to do it in Ballymahon because the cows looking over the hedge would have put him off his game??  :o
