Good time to 3 putt on 17. You couldn't make it up. I feel for him, there always seems to be one other guy who just on that day holes putts for fun from everywhere, plays a miracle shot or in today's case holes a pitch and then a bunker shot but despite the other guy playing unreal or being a jammy bastard Rory should still be winning and he some how doesnt
Amazing effort on 18 but he should never have been in a situation needing eagle on the last just for a play off

Not a bad synopsis. He is so near so many times.

Overrated it is not though.

It's all opinions of course.

I would describe RCD as stupidly tough, and low on strategy.

Whereas Portrush is tough but fair, so long as you place a premium on position over power.

I would describe RCD as stupidly tough, and low on strategy.

Whereas Portrush is tough but fair, so long as you place a premium on position over power.

Of course it's about opinions and I'd agree Portrush is more playable than RCD but that doesn't make a course fair or unfair. Actually I enjoy playing Portrush more but think RCD is the better course. Neither are over rated though, and low on strategy is just nonsense statement.

Good to see L Maguire win her match in the solheim cup.  Surprised she only played one game for the singles having been top point scorer at the previous competition.  Think she expressed a bit of surprise in her interview after the match
