Dortmund's Jude Bellingham view on the referee after their match against Bayern Munich tonight will likely get him sanctioned.

How are people accepting going back to restrictions when everyman and his dog has been vaccinated? If the shit show of a health service is overrun at this stage it’s feck all to do with covid but the government’s lack of investment for years.
76% have been vaccinated. Which means 24% haven't. That's 1.25 million people.

Now Omicron changes the game again.

People will accept restrictions because they are necessary.

If Omicron wasn't around, restrictions over Christmas would still be necessary.

With Omicron around, the token restrictions that were announced last night will be like a chocolate fireguard.

The next week will change the game.
Especially if it turns out to be a variant of mild symptoms.

GAA Discussion / Re: 2022 Fixtures - anyone?
« on: December 02, 2021, 04:27:39 PM »
Twitter last night had a list of Armagh fixtures but i presume this was all fake news...

29/1 v Dubs @ CP
06/02 v Tyrone @ AG
19/02 v Monaghan @ AG
27/02 v Mayo @ TBC
12/03 v Kildare @ AG
20/03 v Kerry @ AG
27/03 v Donegal @ B'bofey
They seem correct and the Mayo game is reported to be played in Roscommon.

Rafa Benitez to Everton has to be one of the most pointless appointments in the history of the Premier league.

Not many coming out in support of Messi

Jurgen Klopp on Lionel Messi after he won the 2021 Ballon d’Or, an excellent player, but struggled to see how anyone else could win the trophy if Robert Lewandowski didn’t get it this time.

“I think you can always give it to Lionel Messi for the career that he’s had, for the footballer he is. All these kinds of things but if you don’t give it to Robert Lewandowski then it’s quite tricky to get it at all.”

Messi’s victory wasn’t the only position that concerned Klopp, however.

When asked about Mo Salah coming seventh in the Ballon d’Or, behind the likes of Chelsea duo Jorginho and N'Golo Kante. he admitted that he was surprised with the rankings, believing Salah should have received a higher spot. “About his position? I was surprised, to be honest, but it’s not in my hands, I think I saw the vote somewhere… Almost definitely should have been higher up.”

While Klopp would have made a few changes if he was putting the list together, he blamed the journalists asking the questions and appealed to them to influence their colleagues if they wanted a different result.

“I don’t even know exactly. The Ballon d’Or, is it the journalists that vote? Yeah, then you don’t have to ask me, it’s your fault. That’s how it is, you are the journalists.

“If you think he should be higher up then you will have to convince your colleagues. I’m really not sure about it, what it is, 100 per cent.”

Play-off Draw

1. Wales or Austria v Scotland or Ukraine

2. Russia v Poland v Sweden or Czech Republic

3. Portugal or Turkey v Italy or North Macedonia

One (or both, I suppose) of Portugal or Italy missing out. Both ranked in the top 8 in the world currently, FIFA won't be happy with this. Expect the pressure for the number of spots awarded to UEFA teams to be increased going forward. Might even end up with more than the 16 they've been promised for 2026, which could be good news for the Irelands.

Also a potential Wales v Scotland play-off final. Russia v Poland will be a bit of craic too.

Had a strong feeling that would be draw. That Italy stoppage-time penalty miss against Switzerland could prove costly. Portugal nobody but themselves after trying to play for a draw against Serbia.

Crokes are miles behind St Judes, so much space it’s like no one is marking players anymore
And yet they managed to pull the win out of the bag.

Best of luck Ole...  Still a legend

I never understood this thinking from United fans. From what I mind he was a sub who scored that one big goal.

He was the Origi of the late 90s.

In regards to minutes on the pitch I believe Solskjaer the player was one of the most productive players in the history of the Premier league

A decision taken at Central Council today has cleared the way for Ulster GAA to consider running the McKenna Cup competition in 2022. “It was agreed to allow Provincial pre-season competitions to proceed and recommence collective training on 8th December”
Late December or early January start?

Now that we have put categories on those in Hospital should we broaden our horizons.

Heavy Drinkers, smokers and even lazy fat f***s. All these have been taking up ICU beds for years.

Time to stigmatise  them. Show them the errors of their ways!

Some people have addictive personalities (I'm sure we all have addicts of some nature in our extended families). Some got hooked on their vice of choice at a young age.
Some people are genetically predisposed to be overweight or obese. Some can't afford to eat healthily. And yes, some are just lazy bastards. But they are all, to some extent, stigmatized and have been for years. No too many people are "proud" to be any of those.

But none of those issues can be basically fixed, at least in terms of impact on healthcare resources, with a couple of two-second injections.

You're having a laugh now!

Not really.

It's amazing how single focused we have all got with this Covid lark! Everything has become secondary. Everybody seems to be bought by the Narrative. Nobody challenges a word. There is no argument from the other side on MSM.

If you think this is about a Virus and a Vaccine. You are in for a big shock!

I think its absolutely about a virus and a vaccine.

What do you think its about?

Control? The Introduction of a digital health certification system and later a social credit system or version of?

That's the guts of it. There is a Roller-coaster of stuff planned for us.

The main thing is for to get the conformity sorted out. Anyone who strays from the Narrative will be belittled and treated as an outcast.

Most of this will be done (unwittingly) by peers!

LOL,  who’s got all this stuff planned? All the governments round the world have ganged up with big pharma and all the doctors round the world so that we can be controlled. Who else is in on it?
Some anti vax chaps tells me It's a serious operation led by a class of global elites such as Bill Gates.

In summary: the world’s most popular sport has a sprinkling of wrong ‘uns among its tens of thousands of professional players, and a tendency towards greed and backhanders among some of its senior administrators.

It’s about as groundbreaking as a light entertainment show on BBC NI.

Funny ive never saw mass rape or sh1ttin in peoples mouths on bbc but maybe im just watching at the wrong time

Looks like Stacey Dooley and Louis Theroux have some new material to investigate.
