Not enough football talk on here, so let's get talking about it again.

What was the best goal scored in an All Ireland final?

I don't mean in terms of timing, importance, history etc.... I just mean, as a thing of beauty.

For me, it's hard to decide between Michael Murphy v Mayo in 2012, and John O'Driscoll v Derry in 1993.

Murphy's is hard to beat. Great pass from Lacey (apparently Donegal had been rehearsing dropping those diagonal balls into Murphy between the 14 and 21 yard lines in the build-up to the final so that he would have space once he won the ball) and what can you say about the catch and finish?

Oisin McConville in 2002 was nicely constructed.

Leaving aside the little nudge, Seamus Darby, given the circumstances and the finish.

Mugsy versus Dublin has to be in the top 3

Still hard to beat Murphy though-the power in the shot was incredible

I saw the Declan Meehan goal again last week. I don't think I can recall another goal in an ai final even close to being as good as that one.

Murphy 2012 wasn't half bad.

Surprised nobody has mentioned Tommy Mcguigan 2008  :P

Jack O'Shea did not score a goal against Roscommon in an AI final.

Joe Kavanagh scored 2 great goals in 1993 and 1999 and was on losing team on both occasions.

Mike Sheehy 1978 v Dublin.

Jack O'Shea 1981 v Offaly.
