I thought it was pretty good. Very stylish

Main Street

'Seven Pounds'   with Will Smith -  one to bring your loved one to, for her enjoyment. SENTIMENTAL, in the extreme of the US fantasy soap films.

'Rightuos Kill'  (or something like that), De Niro & Hofmann, apart from the pleasure of those two, a no brainer plot, no story, no depth and of little interest to me, what a waste of acting talent in such a crap film.

'Gran Torino' acted in and dir. by Clint Eastwood. The old grizzled civil war gunfighter comes out of retirement in some modern city,
hard to take your eyes of Clint. A weak story built on caricatures and cliches but it is watchable because of quality direction which obviously emphasised the acting perf of Clint up close.

Armagh4SamAgain

i love westerns an Clint eastwood is good to.

I must try to see that 1.
'We just go out to play our football and let the critics say what they want. They usually do anyway"

Main Street

I'm glad you duz luv westerns 2. Gran Torino is not a western, your pure love for Clint will have to do.

Goats Do Shave

Eastern Promises is a good show!

Is there plans for a 2nd one? - Lots of loose ends!

V for Vendetta is very good, actually bought it the other day as a Christmas present for the brother as part of a double DVD box with Constantine.

Not very popular but I thought it was good. Interesting and a bit different.
