3G iPhone

thinkin of BUYIN an i phone mainly cause i havent spent a full year at home in ages with travellin etc and therefore a 18 month/12 month contratc no good to me....lookin on ebay..prob wont got for the new i phone 4...anyone use an iphone on the common pay as u go tariff...is it worth considering???

I use gmail contacts which seems to speak to iTunes which talks to the iPhone (sometimes).

If you group them in google, outlook etc, they will transfer over to the iphone once you sync it.

Just looking a bit of advise on something. I have my work emails through Lotus and I can't access them on my I phone as they stopped it being allowed for data protection. But just wondering if there was any way around this?
My iphone is my personal phone and it would be real handy to be able to access them on it.

Any ideas or is it possible?

Anyone had experience of getting screen replaced on iPhone? Mine developed hairline fracture over weekend. Was wondering what cost was likely to be??

I had a hairline fracture last year. It healed itself after about 6 weeks.

brother paid 60 euro in Dundalk at the weekend to have his fixed.  dropped it and cracked the screen

he says there is somebody in Newry who fix's them as well for 50 quid

Seems like £40 or £50 is the going rate for getting it fixed in Belfast. Going to Apple will set you back about £140. Here's some others discussing it:

Guys need some help. Had my iphone 3gs for a few weeks now but it never shows the 3G symbol beside the network provider. Its always either a circle, an E or the wifi symbol. Im on 02 pay n go and changed my settings to match this but still doest show the 3g symbol. Any help is appreciated!

3G Only shows up when you are in an area with a 3g signal. . . Where do you live?
