GAA Discussion / Re: Wexford v Meath

indeed Redmond Barry has been the bane of us as much as Mattie Forde. This Laois game will be interesting, its hard to extimate the value of either team, will Wexford be the team that played the 1st or 2nd half.

Dont think Coyle has a right to blame a ref, the team he was in charge of let a 11 point lead get away. 11 f**king points!!!!!! The usual stuff about meath doing comebacks and all that stuff doesnt really apply to this team. They are quite different to the Boylan era in that and other respects.

Well done to Wexford, theres no denying their class and have fantastic players. It would be nice now for Forde to win a Leinster, you like to see players of his class getting some medals. But we knew that, they're not gonna lie down and die. If i was Coyle Id be more annoyed with myself and my players. I feel like the Arizona Cardinals coach after the Bears game last year!! "They were, who we thought they were" (bangs fist on table)

Wasnt there a whole back patting session during last season about Meath having the honour to take their punishment  like a man and not appealing some incident.  Has their been a seismic policy / manliness change down in the Royle county.

Indeed, I was thinking the same, I really cant see the suspensions being overturned

I don't know, I wouldn't be surprised if this was complete bullshit. Its very easy to make some weird shit up and say it happened in America and people will believe it. I wouldn't give much creedence to anything on Channel 5 or printed in the Sun. Its typical junk media from Britain.

I have so much going on before hand I cant even think about it now, I have Bruce Springsteen in Cardiff in 2 weeks, Iron Maiden in Twickenham in July and Wacken Festival in Germany to sort out first, but when it rolls around I'll be ecstatic!

Anyone read that new book, "The Green Marine", looks like a good read if a bit harrowing. The storey of a Dublin lad who 'd been living in America joined the Army after 9/11 to fight for his adopted country.
