Exactly this. They've tainted the job by this arsing round and a lot of ones wouldn't want to touch it you'd imagine.

Should have been ruled in or out in public statement and that would have been that.

Quote from: ardtole on November 05, 2024, 02:43:45 PMJames McCarthy and Lee Keegan for me. Aaron Kernan worth a mention, rarely had a poor game.

For me Kernan and McConville were as influential club footballers as there ever was but at county level they weren't quite the best of the best despite being superb...

yeah Keegan, McCarthy and AN other for best HB line definitely this century anyway.

That is some result. Didn't see that coming.

Both games are similar for me... on one hand I wouldn't be surprised if either antrim team won and on the other I wouldn't be surprised if they were beat by a bit to spare. Unsure what to expect tbh. They are definitely tough games but it's ulster club so that's what you're going to get.

They gave them a good go one year a few years ago yeah. Ballygunner and ballyhale both.

;D  tbh they will have their work cut out in ulster.

The wexford match, from the wee bit I saw, was a rough enough encounter. I get letting the game go but there were a few times where boys kicked the legs from under the opposition and the ref just ploughed on.

Ah jesus wouldn't fancy cushendall against Ballygunner  :o Ballygunner would be strong favourites for the whole thing at this stage I imagine but then they were last year too.

Most counties haven't got their league setup right since the split season. Antrim's is a balls too.

Carrickmore beat them narrowly so I imagine not a massive shock... I just didn't think they'd win that game.

Quote from: country bumpkin on November 03, 2024, 10:57:08 AMSo although not having been able to get the better of Cargin on the championship trail some on this board evidently feel qualified to offer advice,(with one notable exception) on the Ulster way....

 ;D  End the discussion now.

Carin beat carrickmore one year. Can't recall year.
