United 3-1 winners against Notts Forest in the FA Youth cup final tonight a first youth Cup since 2011 for United. Over 60,000 in attendance, The crowd far exceed the previous Youth Cup attendance record of 38,000.

Start them in the next game, could do no worse.

Honestly would. Why bother playing players that don’t want to be there or won’t be next season anyway.
 Only senior United players coming out of that season with any credit are De Gea, Ronaldo and Fred to an extent.

There was a league of decent strong sides in 96/97 that's why the league points was much lower.  Arsenal and Tottenham are not near the levels of where they use to be even this awful and totally disjointed United side managed to beat Tottenham home and away this season.

True, that is not a reflection on Utd as Champions. The argument is that there is no one of quality outside the top two. But the points total of the next three show they are decent sides. After that there is a plethora of average sides. I do think Chelsea took things easy either side of the FA Cup final and dropped points they should have garnered. They had so much breathing space they could afford to.
