Very good :) Remind me of Everton's recent trophy haul again?

I posted it tongue in cheek. A fake no doubt! :P

AZOffaly

I know it's a fake! :) It's a good fake though.

He shouldn't have mentioned trophies though, gives it away :)

Good win for the toffees last night against Wolfsburg.

Thought the penalty wasn't a penalty in all fairness but the display bodes well for later on.

Is these round robin groups one way or home and away arrangements?

Very good performance by Everton last night. Looked right good.

Everton will finish in the top four this year.
There, I've said it.

They are very good going forward.
Now that the defence has settled down they look a far better balanced team than the likes of United, Liverpool or Spurs

that prediction is looking well of the mark. shocking performance today from manager and players. too many players in the comfort zone. distin, howard and barry need dropped. starting to doubt Martinez, the way things are going he'll be fighting another relegation battle.

Hard to fathom considering Everton dominate in every game ;-)

I seen a poster on another forum saying that if Roberto Martinez was on mastermind and his specialist was football he would leave with 500 passes but no points. dominating possession means feck all if you cant defend.

Everton really missing McCarthy

Ireland did too

He is a huge influence on games, he's reminiscent of a less aggressive young Roy Keane !

I often read the threads on Toffeeweb and was amazed by the negative reaction after we beat QPR and then the huge positivity and expectation to beat Southampton away just cos they had loads of 1st players out.

At the start of the year I thought to myself and settle for coming top 10 if we can give the Europa a good rattle
We are doing that but if I'm to be totally honest I fear Martinez's honeymoon period is over
He had me in total awe of him last year but he sure is making a lot of strange decisions this year.
Lukaku can be class if given the right type of ball but he's a bit lazy and not good coming short with his back to goal.
Barkley to me can be great but again RM plays him out of position a lot
Baines and Coleman were so exciting last year but are so quiet this year. Injury? Team mark them better? Or RM's tactics

Anyway, 4th place WAS so wide open but with Manure and Spurs getting a decent run of late I think it's another season of trying to finish above the red shite and doing well in Europe. We got a decent draw anyway.

Martinez has to go, he has turned us into wigan. something is seriously wrong behind the scenes as there is only one way we are going and that's down. im struggling to find 3 worse teams in the league at the minute.

He does seem to get a big bye ball from the media who have given the likes of Paul Lambert a much harder time, not sure why that is, but time now for Bill to show the cojonies.
Thanks Roberto, nice to watch but now its a mess, be on your way to Barcelona  ::)

Probably because the media were so far up his arse last year some of them are finding it difficult to go the other way now

Did Moyes not have similar tenure?  One year Champions league, next year fighting relegation (well down near the bottom).  I don't think Kenright is too trigger happy.
I have more respect for a man
that says what he means and
means what he says...
