Some stat for Rory 8 single putts in 9 holes (and most of them fairly long) thank god otherwise he would be heading for 80. When they are struggling like this it is far more entertaining than them all shooting low 60's

Hes getting himself into trouble and out of trouble, all over the place, but hanging in.

The fan at the back of 17 shouting at him to keep the head, maybe he should be his next caddy

Ridiculous hole out from scheffler. His second this week. Meanwhile Rory playing himself out of contention for tomorrow so he can shoot a meaningless 65

There are 5 players under par today at present & you choose to pick Rory out as playing himself out of it - madness!

The others haven't got half the natural talent Rory has though. If Rory could avoid the brain farts he would have double the majors

McIlroy needs to tighten up a bit today

Have to say never saw Collins play much before but he stuck out defensively (never mind his goal) as a cut above. Be very surprised if he's not starting with top 10 premier league team in the next few years.

The goal conceded was the one moment of terrible defending and the blame is squarely with mcclean on this occasion. But that happens and James is a solid committed player in my opinion.

It was an awful goal to give away, so many Ukrainian players in the box unmarked, not sure about Kellehers positioning either but he wouldnt have been able to do much anyway. Still plus side is we have seen 3 very good goals from Ireland in the last 2 matches. We need to back it up though with another 2 good games at the next intl break

Plenty of NI players have spoken out. Paul mcveigh said he felt uncomfortable standing for GSTQ and went to the media. Jim Magilton said it was a wasted opportunity to stay at Windsor park etc

Gerry seems a nice enough bloke if you can overlook the I played in Spain don't you know comment every 5 minutes. He is an IFA stooge though. He was given the task of seeing if anew anthem was needed for Norn Iron a good few years ago. After tireless research he concluded that there was no need for a change. I shit you not.

Fair play to JT and Rory McIlroy for calling it out for what it is greed. Disappointed with Gmac and embarrassed for him talking shit about growing the game of golf. It would appear that the Masters will not allow them entry and the British Open likely to follow suit next year if not this. But looking down the list of those playing outside of DJ its not too impressive.

The field isnt impressive yet but if its not nipped in the bud early then you could find many more switching. A ban on playing in the majors would surely kill LIV before it goes anywhere

is greenwood still on the books? could he play again

He was a decent finisher but hardly going to get Utd back to the top. A bit like Rashford I think the initial hype masks the rather ordinary reality. Priorities at the moment are to get rid of the dead wood and sign some players who actually want to play

Some leading loyalists apparently arrested for that hoax bomb threat on coveney. I couldn't find the right thread but tbh these days I think loyalist paramilitaries and dup are pretty closely linked so as good a fit as any...

it will be interesting to see who they are and their ties with the DUP.

Only one is said to be a "leading loyalist". The 46 year old. Incidentally, that's the same age as this guy:
