Freeman's case has to be judged on his offence only and not other non related incidents.

That's quite correct, the intentional use of the head carries 8 weeks, but the perceived injustice that is expressed here is about the length of Tommy's  8 weeks for the actual contact made in comparison to other punishments handed out in the same game.
It's our prerogative to rail against fate.

But we won't be playing with 14 men, another will take Tommy's place. Last year at the the same stage we had to do without Finlay and McQuaid against Derry and we prevailed.
