Give teams a few days to get over knocks and fatigue without going straight into a championship game, especially with teams playing week after week on heavy pitches.

Not everyone has a squad like a Derry or Dublin. Leitrim in the same boat today. You just will not get the best version of a team with a weeks break. 

I don't agree with that. I think we've just been used to our season being dragged out all year and now it's not we're struggling to get used to it. Other physically demanding sports from tennis to rugby don't yap about a week turnaround. We've seen AI finals replayed in 6 days.

It's equal for both teams in that regard.  Today was Westmeath's 4th match in 4 weeks while Wicklow had two weeks to prepare and without taking away from their win they certainly had a scheduling advantage.

Not a blind bit of difference will that extra week have made for Wicklow. In fact, in McConville's interview he said he lost players with injuries in between.

Westmeath shouldn't have to play championship fball a week after a Division 3 final, It doesn't make sense that there not a 2 week gap from the finish of the league

Who is "corporate Croke Park"? There is only one GAA and these people are charged with protecting the brand to raise revenue for all of us. Supermacs should be undermining the brand in this way and would likely be just as protective of anyone using their brand.

Unfortunately I don't think that's true. Peter McKenna runs Croke Park as a corporate entity, there to make money, and as far as I can see he couldn't care less whether it's Taylor Swift or an All-Ireland final that's booked in, as long as it brings in the cash.
He's as far removed from the local club volunteers as it's possible to be.
I mention Peter McKenna as he's the name I know, but presumably there's a large team of people involved.

Peter McKee a does what he us told to do, which includes bringing in more money, which then makes its way to local clubs.
It us fine to say that he should d stop trying to make money, if you are happy to raise that money some other way or do without.

Brolly knows what he's at. He recognises that he has about 15 minutes and to avoid answering any direct question that may be uncomfortable, he gets in first just talking shite and telling wee random stories.

Is it fair to say that the price of a pint in pubs isn't the reason why pubs are empty?
As far as I can see, the dearest places for a pint is where people are flocking to while a lot of the other pubs with cheaper drink are struggling to get people in.
Yes, a lot of these pubs were packed 7 days a week in the 80s & 90s but it's never coming back. Society and drinking culture has changed and a £2 pint isn't going to make a difference.

What are pubs paying Diageo per pint nowadays? Couldn't be much over £2?
