What does everyone think of ocho cinco? i think hes hilarious, complete idiot but some of the videos on youtube of him talking trash and messing around are hilarious. Need people like that in the game. Is there any good books or documentary type programs that anyone can recommend me. I seen that film 'Blind side' in the cinema the other night and thought it was a great story.

Ocho is a pub hound, loves the publicity and all that but he is said to be a real good lad behind it all and an excellent team mate, the man loves to laugh and sure why not.
Armagh, the one true love of a mans life.

Saints and patriots isnt dissapointing i hafta say  :D

All the talk about Brady v Manning. Brees is twice the quarterback they'll ever be :)

Brady 0 TDs, 2 Interceptions
Brees 5 TDs, 0 Interceptions ::)

Pats or Saints this weekend?

Feeling the Saints will do it.

Nah they wont, the Pats are the class of the field and the have thrown away two games already the year. Prediction, Pats 34 Saints 27.

Brees is a stud however and as long as the hated vikings and that cnut favre dont win it all I wil be happy enough, he is the poster child for all that is wrong with american sports imo.

you were right about Brees, but the Pats, all season, have looked far from the class of the field.

As for Brees, he's been great when called on this year, but the keys for the Saints have been improved D under Gregg Williams, and better offensive balance.

Manning on the other hand puts his undefeated team on his shoulders every single week. When he leaves the game we'll be calling him the Greatest Of All Time, and we'll be right!

didnt get seeing the game but Brees must have been fantastic, as he has been all year. After the first few games i would have said they would go close but wont win the bowl because the defense just isnt up to it.  However over the last 4 weeks or so that defense has really stepped up so who knows...

In new york at the minute and im trying to get tickets to go see the jets because they are the only team who are playing in new york tomorrow. Anyway the cheapest ticket to go see a pretty shit team in NFL play is f**king $95, what a joke. I thought the gaa have been ripping the ass out of it lately.

altho i agree there overpriced you'd have paid more yesterday for irelands rugby game

Yeah rugby is a complete joke aswell but at least its an international match. The price for going to watch club games in rugby are nothing like the price you would pay for NFL. I would have prefared to go to a college game but cant find any games that are on close to new york and i leave on tuesday. Going to do wat stew says and sit in the house and watch the games.

Also what division of college football does Norte Dame play in. Its bloody confusing this American football craic

notre dame lost to stanford sat night (in cal). what division? all nd teams are ncaa div 1 but its not like you know it. there are a number of conferences but nd are one of the few independent teams due to the fact that their football program is the richest and they got a national following (even got their own tv deal) and have a national schedule where they play teams from different conferences.

more on notre dame

Far from it - their defence is all at sea sometimes - they are what   ...... 1-4 away from Foxboro - people need to realise that they aren't the team that went 16-0 a few years back

Take a look at some of the teams they've beaten - Tampa Bay and Tennessee were both 0-6 when the Pats played them

Absolutely. They'll win their division, but I don't think they'll get a first round bye, and I can see them going down on the road to Indy or San Diego on the playoffs. They just have too many holes. I also font see the sane ruthlessness in Belichik these days as in years past... He pulled all his starters with 6 minutes to play last night. That would never have happened 3 years back.

Bills vs Jets in Toronto tonight - managed to pick up 4 tickets for the price of 1  :o
