There has to be some Irish blood in that fella Larry Fitzgerald

Maybe you could get him lining out for the Biffos, AZ

He is probably the best WR in the NFL now, him and Boldin are some combination. Boldin may be struggling though for the NFC championship game.

Tickets for Wembley 09 on sale next wednesday. Great timing, just after christmas and before most people get paid. Wow, real considerate. Why do they even bother selling them so early in the year anyway.

Dallas Cowboys' Owens again the hot topic

IRVING – The Cowboys have yet to have full internal discussions about their personnel going into 2009, but Terrell Owens' future will be among the topics.

The Cowboys have to determine whether he is part of the answer as they look to end a 13-year stretch without a playoff win or part of the problem that led to them missing the postseason in 2008.

Not only will the Cowboys have to solve the Owens mystery, they will have to make salary-cap decisions on strong safety Roy Williams, who will count $6.62 million in 2009, and outside linebacker Greg Ellis, who will count $6.25 million. Several decisions on free agents-to-be also loom.

But Owens, who will turn 36 in December, is clearly the hottest topic, as highlighted by an ESPN.com report that cited sources stating the Cowboys will consider cutting the wide receiver.

Owens had his third straight 1,000-yard season with the Cowboys in 2008, but he had only two games with more than 100 yards. His 69 catches were the fewest he's had in a full season since 2000, when he earned his first of six Pro Bowl berths. He had six games with three or fewer catches in 2008 after having nine games with three or fewer in his first 31 regular-season games with the Cowboys.

There is also the issue of locker room chemistry, even if Owens denied an ESPN report in December that he was jealous of tight end Jason Witten's relationship with Tony Romo. At different points last season, Owens questioned offensive coordinator Jason Garrett's offense, which Romo also did after the 44-6 loss to Philadelphia.

Several players spoke about a lack of chemistry as a downfall to the '08 season, and the Cowboys have already decided to cut oft-troubled cornerback Adam Jones and are doubtful to re-sign backup nose tackle Tank Johnson.

Those decisions, however, had no salary-cap impact.

Last June, the Cowboys paid Owens a $12.9 million signing bonus as part of a four-year, $36 million contract. Should the Cowboys cut Owens, he would count $680,000 more against the '09 cap than the $8.99 million he is scheduled to count if he stays. And because this is the last capped season, the Cowboys cannot spread out the hit over two seasons like teams were able to do previously.

This June, Owens is due a $3.1 million roster bonus, so the Cowboys do not have to be in a rush to make a move.

why didnt eagles go for 2pt conversion..

thejuice

25-24 to the Eagles, 2 point conv failed. Warner needs to make a solid scoring drive, burn the clock down but get a TD.
