I mean the Spurs will be happy to rest people - Pop has shown before how much he values rest and he'll care much more about keeping everybody fit then trying to deny the Dubs the record. He's already chucked several games this season.

On the other hand, the warriors are practically obliged to shoot for the record which means having the starters out grinding away for 35-40 mins a night right the way up to the playoffs.

Warriors beat Spurs equalling the Bulls 72 wins and ending the Spurs unbeaten home record.

Curry really stepped it up after been inconsistent recently. It's also the first time the Warriors beat them there since 96 or 97 so nice to get that monkey off their back before a potential match up in the Western finals.

Last up Memphis to break the record, who are missing their best players but who should've beat them last night.

This record means absolutely nothing if they fail to nail down the title, San Antonio will give them their fill.
Armagh, the one true love of a mans life.

Obviously...as Kerr said records are broken but championships last forever but it would be nice to do both and beat the best teams ever record. The warriors are still sore from the negative media they received last post season I.e. Not having to play the clippers or Spurs and then playing the Cav's with no Love or Irving and being deemed lucky. Beating the Bulls record and winning another championship will ram that back down there throats and some

Well Warriors beat the record and it's all overshadowed by Kobe hitting 60 in his last game...that lakers game was unbelievable!!!!

I read he took 50 attempts lol. An all time great and, like Jordan, driven by absolute will to win but he should have retired three years ago. The Lakers were idiotic with the superstar contract they gave him a few years ago and now with his 25m salary off the books, they can finally look at re-building. As one of the most storied teams in NBA history, they've largely been a joke for the last few years and a lot of that has been down to indulging Kobe. Still though, 60 points in the final game of a 20 year career ain't too shabby!

As for the Dubs, after the losses against Boston and Minnesota, that was very impressive the way they won out to break the record, especially becoming the only team to beat the Spurs at home this season. Hopefully all that record breaking (Curry hit ten 3's last night to go past 400 for the year!) hasn't taken too much out of them as we should be in for an all time classic Western finals with them against the Spurs.

Memphis were brutal last night too.

Massive trade in the NFL today. The Rams are all in on getting a QB it looks like, but it's a bit strange because they've given away a pile of picks to get to number 1, when they may have been able to pick up a decent QB at their original slot of 15. Will this mean Wentz or Goff will go #1 now? What happens to Joey Bosa or Tunsil?

Rams trade up to acquire No. 1 pick from Titans

The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms to trade the No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft to the Los Angeles Rams.

In a stunning development that shakes up the top of the leaderboard and almost definitely gives the Rams their next quarterback of the future, the Titans ended the day with an impressive stable of picks. The Rams came up farther (No. 15) than any team in NFL history to acquire the No. 1 pick and that came at a steep price.

Tennessee gets: Rams first-round pick (2016), two second-round picks (2016) third-round pick (2016), first-round pick (2017), third-round pick (2017).

Rams get: Titans first overall pick (2016), Titans fourth-round pick (2016), Titans sixth-round pick (2016).

That is a LOT to give up for any player coming out. Are any of the QBs really worth that much?!

I don't think so, especially as it's not a bad class all in all, QB wise. I don't think there's a Winston or Mariotta there though.

Looks like they will take Goff at #1.

Far too much to give up. Awful for the Rams, great for the Titans!

With Ronaldo's hat-trick on Tuesday it's been a hell of a week for sport's two greatest narcissists. They just showed a re-run on BT there of the Lakers game and it was hard watching. The celebs, the fawning commentators and the refs who certainly weren't going to spoil the party - Before Kobe received the inbound pass to be fouled for the free-throws that took him to 60, he gave his defender the most blatant push you could ever see, safe in the knowledge that no-one was going to call a foul against him at his party. It didn't feel like real sport to me, (regular season NBA often doesn't) a bit of a pantomime with a WWE feel to it.

Super win for the Pacers. The Raptors game 1 woes continue. Paul George was immense in the 2nd half.
