Arguing with Trumpkins who can't even bring themselves to admit that they're defending Trump is just getting tedious at this point.

Can we point this thread in a more interesting direction?

How about the Mueller investigation? My take on it is that Democrats are in danger of overplaying their hand with Russiagate in the same way Republicans did with Benghazigate. Countless investigations into Clinton and nothing was there, but they kept on banging on about it because they wanted something to be there. They wanted to keep re-investigating in the hope that a conspiracy would emerge.

Are Democrats getting their hopes up too much with the Mueller probe? Setting themselves up for disappointment because impeachment is so unlikely? My hope is that the investigation drags out beyond the next mid-terms and helps to depress GOP support and let us take back the house and senate, stopping Trump in his tracks for the rest of his one and only term. As soon as the investigation concludes, we've got nothing but the Twitter controversy of the day, so it's in our interest for it to drag out as long as possible.

Personally, I've little invested in the Mueller probe. Just hope it is all done honestly.

Trump and his support have gone so far off the reservation at this point that you might have to agree with him about his gunning people down on Fifth Ave and not losing support. I mean, there are apparently FOUR porn stars in the mix now from his alleged activities while his wife was home breastfeeding! Where does this freak show end? Every week we are crossing what used to be career-ending lines! ;D

Why are the right still obsessed with Clinton ... she lost get over it. She has no relevance in US politics anymore so why do people keep mentioning her when others are slagging the President??!!

Does it concern you that the founder of Fusion GPS had dinner with the Russian Attorney both the night before and the night after the infamous Trump Tower meeting?

If I were a betting man I'd say that the Clinton campaign in conjunction with some rogue elements of the FBI set a honey trap for the Trump campaign. Hence the "insurance policy" that one FBI/DOJ referred to

I wonder if we could set up some sort of "swear jar" type of thing where Whitey has to deposit a dollar every time he changes the subject to Hillary Clinton. We'd all be quite rich.

its all connected......the whole "Russian Collusion" hoax is how the Democrats are trying to explain away Hillarys defeat.  I may be wrong, but from my vantage point there was no collusion.....there was contact, as there was between the Clinton campaign and certain Russians.

The whole "collusion" nonsense is how the Democrats are trying to undermine Trumps legitimacy and Hillary and her campaign are bang smack involved in all of that

As long as theres talk about collusion, Hillary will be part of the conversation because her campaign funded a false dossier that led to surveillance and wiretapping

"Concern"??? Depends what comes out about it.

I've seen nothing in the news about "dinners" though.

Just a Fox News report saying they were in a court room together beforehand and in each other's presence afterwards, whatever THAT means. They didn't supply any context.

Surely the GOP committee members grilled the GPS rep if there is anything to this??

Theres a lot of chatter on the blogs this morning about some FBI\DOJ memo.  This could get interesting if theres substance behind it
