Thing about Babel, if he went to Arsenal I bet he would be fooking class.

Tonights team unchanged

Reina, Insua, Johnson, Carragher, Skrtel, Lucas, Gerrard, Benayoun, Riera, Kuyt, Torres.
Subs: Kyrgiakos, Aurelio, Voronin, Babel, Cavalieri, Spearing, Mascherano

I'd go for same team as last wkd with possibly bringing aurelio in for Insua. If we get a few goals up take the big hitters off for the wkd and let Vorinin on to do his thang!

Must win game as they are the weakest in group and no doubt Lyon and Fiorentina will get maximum points from them. Remember the Marseille game a fews years back when Rafa fucked about with the team and we ended up losing. Strongest team please Rafa

Wouldn't be at that but have done a sky dive, bungee jump and kloofing which was pretty scarey.

Your man just has no fear. Even on my bugee jump I couldn't jump out and fall, had to just bend the knees and fall off...as if 2 feet was going to make a difference

There is a few sites in Fermanagh. There is one up near Lisnakea called Mullnascarty(I think). Why anyone would want a to stay here I don't know. The Share Centre the other side of Lisnaskea also has a static site but think there is a waiting list.

There is one down near Blaney, never been on it but nice enough area.

A new one has just opened outside Belcoo on Lough MacNean. Gary Lineker and has blade visited it on that awful show they did. It has some award (1st one in Europe), can't remember what you call it. Lovely area down there (when the weather is nice), think the site is called Rushin something.

Have you checked out Rossnowlagh?

Liverpool FC and Standard Chartered Bank announced today they had agreed a four year deal for the bank to become the club's main sponsor - the largest commercial agreement in Liverpool's history.
The agreement, which starts in July 2010 and runs through to the end of the 2013-14 season, will see the bank's name and logo appear on the Liverpool shirt.

Liverpool FC is the most successful club in English football, enjoying a global following most recently evidenced in its highly successful pre-season tour of Singapore and Thailand. As official club sponsors, Standard Chartered will enjoy a major rights package which will provide the platform to significantly step up the Bank's brand awareness across its core markets in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Standard Chartered PLC, listed on both London and Hong Kong stock exchanges, ranks among the top 25 companies in the FTSE-100 by market capitalisation. The Bank has more than doubled its revenue and profits over the last five years and has performed consistently well, delivering record results throughout the recent financial crisis.

Christian Purslow, Managing Director of Liverpool Football Club, pictured above signing the contract alongside Standard Chartered chairman John Peace, commented: "This partnership brings together two highly successful organisations with a really strong cultural and strategic fit. The sponsorship opportunity attracted a huge level of interest from a wide array of globally recognised brands and in Standard Chartered we believe we have the ideal partner to move forward and help develop our global ambitions for the club. It is a real sign of the progress we have made at Liverpool that we have been able to secure the largest ever commercial deal in our history."

Peter Sands, Group Chief Executive of Standard Chartered PLC, said: "This is a great partnership. We are excited to be working with such a famous global brand as Liverpool Football Club for the next four years. This is an outstanding opportunity for Standard Chartered, our customers and shareholders, and for Liverpool, its players and fans

"We see many opportunities to continue growing our business, particularly as Asia, Africa and the Middle East are emerging from the global downturn more quickly than the West. This sponsorship will drive a step change in brand recognition in our key markets and will provide an additional catalyst for our business growth."

Some great news. Anyone know what other clubs deals are and how this rates against them?

Also remember incidents involving Rooney, Neville, Gerrard etc. The usual excuse was rolled out that he was showing some passion, and as he's English, they get away with it, not so if it's a foreigner or a controversial character.

Don't remember Gerrard ever reacting like this, I may be wrong but please enlighten me

[there will be no place for Liverpool to hide if and when they lose Torres or Stevie G.

Like last season when we had to deal with out Gerrard and especially Torres for long periods...oh hold on didn't we 8)

What do Liverpool fans reckon about playing Johnson on the right hand side of midfield?

Possibly against some of the bigger teams, cause it would make us more defensive but who then do you play at right back? Carra is the only option however we knows he doesn't like playing there and he doesn't really have the legs anyway.

Can't see Johnson having as much space at right mid anyway and therefore would not have as great a attacking impact. Having Kuyt infront of him is part of the reason he's had a successful start. Kuyt not only makes space for him out wide but also has the capabilities to help out in defence thus giving Johnson the freedom to bomb on

Bit disappointed at the way McGinn was treated, he seemed to come in for a fair bit of stick from the supporters there near the end.

Don't know what you heard but I was there and that is balls. He got cheered when he came on and applauded several times when he hit crossbar, had a couple or runs.

As for the result, very disappointed. The Slovaks took there chances and we couldn't get the goal when we had them penned in at the start of the second half.

Was watching some clips on youtube and forgot clean about WTC 7 also collapsing. Was there any reason given to this? Did it catch fire eg from falling debris and thus came to the same fate as the towers?
