Liverpool didn't have to fight that hard to beat united. They just rolled over and played dead.

Ah leave Nani alone..
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Lose to bottom of the league West Ham...Fight like its your cup final and beat United and then get beat my Braga...Seems like yous are turning into a very small minded club these days.

Not a wind up either

No Suarez and Gerrard doesn't help. Without those two even United might have scraped a point last weekend.

You think Gerrard played well against United?

Have to agree about Cole. Would rather see some of the younger players get a chance. Cole just doesn't offer enough.
First half was very poor. For carrying the ball out of defence you'd miss Agger as opposed to the greek and Carrargher's hoofs up field. In the first half these were just dropping straight to their defence. At least in the second half Carroll was there to get a flick or bring it down.as mentioned before Spearing dissappointed for me again. Didn't do much wrong but didn't offer much either.

Didn't really have to but he was carrying an injury so put a decent shift in considering.

Fair play to Roy Hodgson traveling to Portugal to follow his former club.

The key to success is to be consistently competitive -- if you bang on the door often it will open

Not a wind up, just absolute sh*te! That's football, not going to win every game especially in the situation Liverpool are trying to get themselves out of!

Bingo

Was a poor game and thats been generous. Don't think braga are too hot themselves but they have a lead and no away goal, so will be dangerous next week.

Hopefully a big Anfield night and Carroll starting would be enough to see us through.

Joe Cole is just offering nothing at the minute. Several times there is a pass on and he delays, takes a touch and then tries the same pass that is now off. Very fustrating. Maxi a far better option and was surprised that Kenny didn't throw a few other fresh legs on last night for last 20 mins.

Can see Liverpool having enough to get through but it'll be a nervey night, again, and I would prefer to see Gerard in there. Oh for Suarez in these games.

quit yo jibbajabba

no big surprise chaps to be honest, we've been v poor for a fair while away from home in europe, not many defeats, but not many goals/wins either;

we usually depend on the home leg one way or another, this one being no different;

the oul squad still pretty threadbare when you look at some of the names on last nite.....

Up early this morning thanks to this youth game.  Better be worth it!
LFC line-up Belford; Flanaghan, Sama, Wisdom, Smith; Suso, Coady, Roddan, Sterling; Adorjan, Morgan.

Lovely finish by Morgan but great nutmeg by Sterling!
