i have a feeling mayo will pull it out of the fire on saturday. build up is really low key, expectation is not high. im sure johnno will have his troops fired up for this one. dont forget that the majority of this mayo team have big game experience in croke park, i know they have bad memories of finals but they have won plenty of quarter finals and semi finals.

where is this game likely to be payed ? double header in croker??

championship football is all about momentum and driving on. if we can get back up on the horse in the qualifiers, we can regain some momentum. there seems to be an awful lot of negativity out there, i think its a mayo thing with our past. if we cant get over that then we will never have a chance of doing anything. the positives outway the negatives i think. OK we lost ronan mgar for a while but we have 2 or 3 coming back, we have a team of youth and experience plus we have a manager who has been there done that and seen it all before. this is his time to show what he is made of

i think it all depends on johnno and his team to get the mayos lads mindset right.having done it before with galway must be an advantage. i dont think you can compare the qualifiers last year with this year. last year, under a new management, we couldnt have faced a
more tougher draw then derry away. hopefully this year, with a better team in my opinion, and a reasonable draw, we can progress. im not saying we will win it, but im sure every team left would not relish playing us, and i include kerry in that, the past is the past
