Jaysus even in the good summers we'd never be drawing turf off the bog until July or August.

I'm waiting to sow the garden out. Holding off til there's rain on the way, but may as well enjoy it when it's here. We complain enough about not getting it!!
You'd be better holding out until the end of the season if you can. Less chance of weeds coming up with the grass

Every turf bank and mountain in Antrim is cleared up and all.. Great drying the year.

You may go for the second cut.... use it to offset a cold winter or bad drying year

I like my stove well stocked and a back boiler in the house it always helps.

local news down here reporting hundreds of homes just levelled....not sure why they were not built to the same code as south florida. looks like a lot of timber frame....it was the same category as Irene last year but looks to be much more damage - God help them
