It will never top an idiot abroad...
Millions and billions?! He used the following sentence "It’s 10,000 trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion years". He could have just said a long time - who can prove it will be that long?

The point of that was to presumably attempt to explain the incomprehensible scale of the whole thing. IF he'd said 10^76 years, would you have grasped the scale? Or be any closer to doing so?
I liked the quote when he said if you counted all the atoms in that made up everything in the universe you wouldn't have enough atoms for every year until the end.  You would need some size of abacus

Feck it creationism is much easier to understand.  The whole universe will stop in trillions of years was mind pickling.  Could another one not just start?  How did the first one start.  Great show but the human mind just cant comprehend these things.   He did say though on an earlier show that science was all just about the best theory at the the time, until another theory disproves it, so our great great great great great......................grand children still have hope

I agree with you lad.  Im just saying its more of problem for society than we think.  Known fact, dead drug dealers lead to more drug dealers and generally more drugs.  I have no sympathy for someone who dies in this proffession, bit like a stunt man complaining abou the injustice of breaking an arm.  However the problem doesnt go away

I had to pick my sister up at the airport at about 3.30 in the morning a few years back.  So im tearing over the Glenshane, nothing mental, about 80-85mph to the good.  And i see the dreaded blue flashing lights (by the way some of them new cars with the fancy headlights can make you dung your nags from time to time).  So i Mirror, signal and pull over into the hard shoulder.  Cop comes up to the window and asks for my licence heres what follows.

Cop:  do you know what speed you were doing
Me:  Yes, was doing about 80mph
Cop: Speed limits 70, thats extremely dangerous
Me:  Officer, i know, im just picking my sister up at the airport.  Its the middle of the night and the glenshane is a big open road i dont think its that dangerous to be honest
Cop:  What happend if Mr Fog was out
Me: Well, Mr HiMucker, would have put Mr foot on Mr Break, and slowed Mr Car down
Cop:  Mist or Fog!!

True story

Two drug dealing shitheads have been shot dead. That is WINNING!!!!!
This is the way i would have thought for many a year.  We all know people who might smoke a joint, take a few class As etc, but we condem the dealers?  Rightly so, but what happens when they our dead?  How many couples to you know who ask if the diamond for their engagement ring is a conflict diamond, were our designer clothes come from.  Im not tring to give anyone a morality lesson, as i know as a consumer I would be prepared to still buy certain goods even knowing the route that they have went through to get here.  Organised crime is a major problem for our society and across the world, it is interwoven into the very basic mechanisms of the world economy.  And to be honest the more I read about it the less i think can be done to stop it.  Great book to read "Gommorah"

Mate of mine was steamin at the queens student union and resisted expulsion by the bouncers.  The Fuzz was called and he was brought back to the station and put in a holding cell to sober up.  He proceeded to strip his clothes off and tossed them in the corner, then in some sort of dirty protest, he pissed on his own colthes on the floor.  He had to walk home the next day to the Holy lands in a PSNI issued tracksuit!!

urbanization is the solution in countries where People are seen as an issue to be dealt with .not as the true owners of the country
do you really think the like os Lagos pop 7-15million or dhaka 7- 12 million would be good industrialized places to live? or does a nice bungalow a few miles outside the town near a good school with no blacks or tinkers not sound like a better bet?
A tad racist their!!  Although the conditions in Lagos horrify us westerners im sure it beats starving to death in the countryside.

Tell me your not serious about the week off work?  Amateur games played by exceptional athletes but still they are amateurs.  Is Mickey Hartes philosophy not "you need to be fit to come to training, not come to training to get fit"

Pitch black would be one of my favourite horrors but not while scary.  Vin Deisels big break before he made an arse of himself.

The Omen scared the shit out of me when i was youngster.  Remember watchin it and then asking my da something and he was sleepin!  Crapped them and turned the channel over!

Watched The Prestige last night... Have to say it is one of the best movies I've watched in a hell of a long time...  Superb casting and acting, brilliant script and plot and enough twists at the end to leave manys the head scratching...

The jumping back and forth took a tiny bit of getting used to at the start but added to the overall quality and direction of the movie.

Only question is, for a man who might watch 7 or 8 movies a week - how in the name of jaysus did this one slip by me for as long?
I find the prestige a film thats even better the second time round as you can grasp it better, but you loss the surprise of the twists.  Great show

Holy Jaysus can a guy not get up to a little devilment anymore without fear of it being plastered over the tinternet :D  I'm going on a stag do in a few weeks and I'm shittin my togs for two reasons: 1) IF I wind up in a similar situation/opportunity to Mr Nixon Il blow me junters straight away.  2)_There will be video or photographic evidence of the incident splattered all over Spacebook or Myface straight away and not only will the missus be tryin to kill me (as i am in the precarious position of being worth more dead than alive) but more importantly Il be gettin the piss ripped out of me for blowin me junters near instantaneously  :-\:D Its like American Pie without the humour
