Tyrone / Re: Tyrone County Football and Hurling

You could see this performance coming after the last two outings against division 4 opposition. Some turn up in intensity from Donegal on Saturday evening, and it looked as if the tyrone players had forgot what hard work was.Loads of pointing and shadow tackling. Was it just me or did most of the tyrone team look seriously leggy from the get go. Too many players had bad performances, both seasoned campaigners and younger inexperienced players, for me the only man who stood up to be counted and really made an effort was mcgeary.

I don't think anyone would begrudge ttm boys making money out of it. They provide a service which, like any other business, is entitled to make a profit. It when they cross the line and start interfering in who manages Tyrone teams and county boards then problems start.

Is your personal mandate on here not usually to ridicule the current tyrone manager?? Surely the TTM men have as much right to you to have an opinion??

I believe the CB were sticking 2 fingers up to TTM.  The original concept for Tyrone TV involved TTM delivering the commentary of the games along with MAC AV doing the recording and broadcasting.  TTM then produced a bill that the CB didn't agree with so step forward Paddy Hunter who offered his services free of charge.

TTM will see themselves sidelined to the lesser games such as youth and ladies with the introduction of Tyrone TV when games are in Omagh and it will only be a matter of time before Tyrone TV attract their own sponsors.

TTM are a pack of amateurs and bluffers. Glad to see them fucked out by the CB. Finally they've been exposed for what they are.

And whats that??

Poor enough county final if truth be told. Coalisland were happy enough to soak up pressure and run clock down in first half against wind, and killyclogher done like dromore and errigal before them and played far too conservative with it. All in all though they were far the better team, some outstanding ballers, young lad that came on made the entrance fee bearable with two outstanding points to liven up second half. Tiernan mccann showed why hes a county player yesterday, was killycloghers best performer. Carberry tried everything he could in first half, actually think he should go to ulster now and concentrate on playing football rather than niggling as hes wasting himself at the carry on hes at. Coalisland have the players to beat Cross if they apply themselves and could actually give ulster a good rattle.

The intermediate final was niggly too, however again the best team won. Tattyreagh have a serious outfit, and they are all young men, could be a year too early for division 1, however im sure they wont care. some achievement. They got their match ups perfect. johnny harkin on mcelroy and murray on kavanagh. Tattyreaghs full forward line took the augher full back line to the cleaners. Sludden suited them also as he let tackles go a good bit and they were alot more of a physical presence. Is that sludden retired?

Pomeroy have edendork and Galbally to play in final two games, both must wins for survival, and probably play one of them again in a playoff. Been a tough year for them.

Was at a few games over the weekend. Errigal looked flying fit, serious turn of pace from them. Carmen actually took off players that were performing well. Overall the better team won. Dromore disappointed yesterday, Their tactics were baffling at times, they have one of the best forward units around and yet played 12-14 men behind the ball. Could understand sludden playing as a sweeper in the first half against the breeze but with the wind second half he spent far too much time in his own half. Hampsey was immense, MOM by a mile. Coalisland errigal will be interesting. Cant see errigal allowing the short kick outs or the free man for kick outs the way dromore did. Is johnny curran injured?

I honestly think coalisland will dispense of Errigal with a few points to spare.  Although Errigal have a lot of speed in their forward unit their defence is very questionable.  We caused them a lot of problems with 2 championship debutants and 3 men over 30 in our forward line. Not convinced by Errigal at all.

I agree with regards to the errigal reargaurd but there might be a reshuffle in there, cant see kavanagh starting in defense again. Will coalisland have enough in attack though? Mcneice looked sharper than ive seen him in a few years and could cause a few problems. Hopefully both teams go for it and it turns into a shoot out.

In addition, what frankly sticks in the craw is that Dermot Crowe doesn't give one flying fcuk about Barney Horisk, or Paddy Hughes, or their families.

It's quite a gutter tactic to draw attention to a conversation that is already in full flow.

+1

Absolute gutter trash writing. No thought for the people of these families.

Peter Canavan has his say on the Cavanagh incident! He describes Kieran Eanetta as one of the best referees in the county. I think he should be handing back his whistle after his last performance shows he can't handle the pace!

Tyrone county board have also released a statement saying video evidence will be reviewed regarding incident(s) it will be interesting to see will they sweep it under the carpet or start to deal with thugs in our game.

Lots more to come from this over the next few days.

Fair play to Ardboe wishing Skeet a speedy recovery.

In fairness I agree with Canavan here. You are being very hard on Eanetta, I have always found him a decent referee and a long way ahead of alot of them on the club scene

Any decent performances from Clonoe Ardboe game?
Thought Kyle Coney had an excellent game. Impressive work rate from him tonight.

Agree with this, Nullified mcclure and had a decent impact himself. His passing skills are top drawer. Seems to have got himself into serious shape, be very surprised if he doesnt get a call up for next year.

Cassidy and Skeet had a decent tussle to, hopefully he will get a run next year too see if he can make the grade.

Clonoe looking to be an ageing outfit, same faces there for past few years, an injection of young blood needed.
