Well considering the GAA practically sponsor Dublin GAA then this is no biggie. No one is being forced to attend.
I presume they would do the same for other counties too. I know, for example, the Tipp county Board would regularly encourage people to support initiatives in other clubs around the county. This is probably similar on a national scale.
