Any true GAA aficionado would like to see Dermot Earley's club return to have a moment in the sun sure. The Roscommon senior keeper plays wing-forward for Glavey's too. The geography aficionados on the other hand..

Achill didn't even win their county title.

Where would they play that? Clare Island? Bofin?

What we want to see won't make a differ I'd say, can't see the Islanders not winning on Saturday. We lost the Junior final on Saturday, a tough loss to take, were two points up against 14 men at the 3/4 point but Mary's got on top then and won comfortably in the end. Hard to lift it again having being so geared up for the county final, considering we hadn't won any adult title since the senior in 1969. Hopefully we'll put in a decent showing anyway.

Aran finally won the junior in Galway alright after coming close a few times but there's been some major celebrations since I heard. Hard to know if their focus will be on Connacht afterwards. Maybe it will. Who Knows?

Sligo c/ship very poor this year. standard as low as Ive seen.

Who are the Leitrim Junior champions? Will they have a rep at this level?
Inaugural Football Championship Prediction Winner.

I used to be indecisive but now I'm not too sure.

Brigids 1-07 Fhailes 0-01 HT in the Ros Senior final.

Frankie with 1-05 of that. To think Maughan thought Frankie was finished eight years ago. He's kicking for fun today. In terms of pure talent we've produced few players that compare to him.

Brigids with the wind but they're far superior. Will take a miracle for Fhailes to get back into this one.

FT Galway SFC final

St Michael's 0-9 Corofin 5-12

Means they won their semi-final and final by a combined 9-26 to 0-11. Jokeshop.

Ballyhaunis won against Dromahair easy enough today in the Intermediate first round.
