General discussion / Sleepwalking
January 14, 2008, 07:58:27 PM
ANybody know the rationale behind we sometimes sleepwalk. Last night, I went for a wander around the apartment but I was asleep and remembdr waking up sitting on the couch at 4.30. I'm just wondering why we sometimes sleepwalk and could it happen to me again anytime soon.

And I don't mean this one where you can look up the stats for each member, but when around about did you first join up with the older versions of gaaboard. I joined in April 2004, when Mayo were in what you could call a crisis, I actually posted as my real name! Then changed to Cnoc Mor, it's only in this one I've used this name.

GAA Discussion / Flags on pitches
October 17, 2007, 02:28:45 PM
Lads, I would appreciate a quick reply to this one. I know it sounds stupid but where do the flags go at pitchside i.e. 21m, 45 m and where else? It's just that I was put on the spot to line a pitch with flags and I'm not really sure where they go. I don't go to matches to look at flags!

GAA Discussion / New Jerseys?
September 22, 2007, 07:57:27 PM
I saw on the Star today that the GAA are going to have numbers on front and back of intercounty jerseys, starting in January. I assume all the jerseys will take on a new format so?

GAA Discussion / Mayo v Limerick
February 19, 2007, 04:07:28 PM
I'm expecting a good game next weekend. Not every team goes to Ulster and beats an Ulster team. I think we will win this game though and hopefully the friendly on Saturday night against Clare will have helped Johnno see a few other players that could be called upon for this game. Mayo to win though.

GAA Discussion / Mayo v Kerry
January 28, 2007, 07:56:46 PM
Lads, this time next week the game will be over. A tough first league game for Johnno I reckon. I can't seeing us winning the match unless Kerry are suffering a post-All Ireland hangover which I doubt it. However, it'd be nice to start off with a win seen as it's going to be a tricky league campaign for Mayo with away games against Donegal, Cork and Tyrone.
