United a team of Individuals. They were doing combined Liverpool/United team and barely a United player getting on the team, because not the same level of work rate

Paul Scholes was right , they would be ripped apart by a better team playing like they did in first half against Atalanta

Decent game between Ballina and West port considering the conditions . They could have played it in the new dome

A fresh challenge.  He was a United fan growing up, so probably wanted to challenge himself in the Premier League.

He hasn't been great in the gates he's played,so far.

Madrid had to cash in on Varane as he didn't want to renew his contract.  They faced losing him for nothing otherwise.

Did he get done for manslaughter?  How did they prove he caused their death?

He knowingly picked up a load of people who were in a very dangerous situation.

Surprised he got done for manslaughter though unless the prosecution clearly proved he caused their death.

He demanded the lorry be full with 39, not just 5 or 6 immigrants. They had no chance of surviving in those temperatures and the crowd of people inside.

Dire stuff. They should be making a move for Conte before he's snapped up.

Looks more like a push into the the players face, he is a bit theatrical holding his face, McCarey grabbing him off the ground then doesn't look great https://t.co/DDQkyaJAGB?amp=1

U really think that the results are that bad that the manager should be sacked

I really want him to do well, funny enough because I support Man Utd, but I think he's under more pressure now than we was at the start of the season and the Europa League final already had a fair amount of pressure on him. The recent performances haven't been great at all. You would hope there's a few gelling issues with Ronaldo etc coming in but his run of games after the break are horrible and he could be in trouble if it doesn't at least look better.

Unless the shit really hits the fan I don't think they'll sack him though.

United's easiest run of games on paper is behind them and they drew or lost against opposition they should be beating.   Chelsea City and Liverpool all taking points off one another has helped bad results look OK tablewise.  Halloween will tell us how they are progressing but you have to fear Ole is probably 3 defeats from the chop.

Late to this I know, but Ole's here unless top 4 is impossible. And he'll probably have the team up for one of the stronger three to buy him more time after an average few games beforehand.

They didn't bring in Ronaldo, Varane, Sancho to hope to get into Top 4. A title challenge is what would have been expected at the start of the season. Losing the Euopa League final was a bad blow, as he needed a trophy, then going out of this seasons league Cup to West Ham.

He's under big pressure but he's turned it around in the past when it looked like they were gone.

Down Hurling manager not impressed with Brian McAvoys comments on proposal B.

“This is a man who has presided over the fact that there is no Ulster hurling championship for minors, U20s or for seniors,” said Sheehan.

“Ulster have abdicated their responsibility for hurling promotion to Leinster, and I would like to go very publicly on record to thank Leinster for giving my own young hurlers at U20 the opportunity to play in the Leinster Championship because their own province doesn’t deem them worthy of having one
