Have to say the last 24-48 hours have been utterly depressing. While getting rid of leeches like the Glazers is essential the next priority is getting owners who just don't get in the way. And you certainly don't want outright scum in charge. Alleged United supporters preferring Qatar over Radcliffe can do one in my opinion. Unfortunately saw some online polls indicating a strong majority favouring this. They're not United supporters in my mind (realise this is controversial but stand over it and won't be replying). Radcliffe may not be perfect but he's not someone who stands over slave labour and murder. Qatar taking over United would be an absolute disaster and disgrace. Surely the "fit and proper persons" regulation should be too high a bar for a country like Qatar?

United don't need oil money to get back to the very top. They just need owners who aren't bleeding the club dry while being totally incompetent.

United does not need oil money. United generate a ridiculous amount of money that allowed United to spend as much as anyone WHILE parasites took a billion out of the club.

What United need is ownership with the best interests in the club and pulling in one direction.

Ie; United need owners for whom purchasing the club is not a financial decision. Is that anyone outside a state backed owner? Will Ineos want a return for their purchase?

It's the Premier Leagues fault for allowing these oils states to take over.

It wouldn't happen in Germany as fans have a big say

United are a different level. Alright oil money buying tinpot clubs like City, Chelsea, PSG, Newcastle etc but it'll be a sad day when a top club like United, Liverpool, Barca, Real or Bayern goes.

Surely UEFA can block a Qatar bid given their ownership of PSG?

Rashford is the best player in the world right now.

Just got round to watching todays match. Slow start and helped along with two fine saves by DeGea.  Rashford clinical with his chance and Dalot missed a sitter 1st half. 2nd half much the better team scored twice and could/should have scored a few more.  Three cup matches in three different competitions next up.

If its 2 different people/companies who own both clubs even though in reality its the state backing them i don't think UEFA can do much.

Bord na Mona man

There is no appetite in Britain to halt this kind of buyout. They've happily sold everything including the kitchen sink to the highest bidder for years.
Qatar already owns some iconic real estate in London.

Be no chance of Munich getting the oil tycoons running them.
