That's the point, these are not bad programmes but aimed at a slightly different cohort.

Only Fools and Horses is a classic and people will watch it in 50 as they do the like of Sgt Bilko.

I surely can't be the only one who found Fr. Ted entirely unfunny?

Soft Border Patrol was entirely unfunny, Fr Ted had its moments.

Sgt Bilko is the best

See The League of Gentlemen not mentioned

Loved that show
It's a lot easier to sing karaoke than to sing opera

Bilko! I'd forgotten about that show. Very good.

I always liked the Inbetweeners but I could see it not being for everyone.

A couple of others came into my head.

Dear John.

And there was one based in a leisure centre.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

I caught a couple  of episodes of Friends   recently,  and they weren't good at all (series 6).  Once they did the London  episodes, they went  very  noticeably downhill.  It got a  lot worse towards the end too. Bar the  odd  good Joey moments, the later series are hardly worth  watching.

red hander

Last of the Summer Wine was about as funny as a bad dose of piles. A dumping ground for elderly actors who had been out of work for years. Some oul ballix careering down a steep hill in a tin bath every week is not f**king comedy. Awful shite.

Substandard

Never got the whole Friends frenzy.  Watched Man Down during the lockdown- it was funny enough,  but not something I'd revisit all that often.  Black Books was excellent, and I've seen Red Dwarf and Blackadder already mentioned.
Dunno if anyone said My name is Earl yet- I enjoyed it at the time, but again haven't gone back to it.
